I've been going to Dentistry of the Carolinas since they acquired this practice and have nothing but great experiences to speak of. Many of the staff have been there for years, they are friendly, professional and courteous, especially my hygienist Katie. You'll find Dr Cabana to be genuinely kind, caring and gentle regardless of the procedure.

She was so courteous to me. She didn’t make me feel crazy about the condition of my teeth. Her assistant Katie was great as well. I’m actually looking forward to them fixing my teeth. They answered all my questions and me thinking about my life choices lol. I would highly recommend.

I visit Dentistry of the Carolinas twice a year. I am always seen promptly. Katy Stanton's cleaning process is thorough and she keeps me informed about areas I need to pay special attention when brushing and flossing. Dr Cabana ensures fillings and gums remain intact and healthy. I actually enjoy my visits.

DOC - University is great! I've been going here for a few years now and have always had great experiences. The Dental Hygienist, Katie is excellent. She seems to genuinely care for her patients as she always takes the time to answer questions and give advice to improve oral health. Dr. Cabana is great too; she's very meticulous in ensuring fillings and crowns are perfect. The assistants and receptionists are always very friendly and helpful as well with scheduling and insurance questions. Overall, I'd highly recommend!

Update 6/6/19: I actually love going to the dentist now. Katie is the best hygienist I've ever worked with and Dr. Cabana is very intelligent and knows what she's talking about. They are thorough, but also really care about you as a person!

I have been a patient of Dr. Karin Cabana since Dentistry Of The Carolinas took over the location' previous practice. Many of the staff remained, especially "my hygienist" Robin as well as the one who cleans my husband's teeth (sorry that her name escapes meat the moment). These fine ladies have taken care of my family's teeth since my adult sons were in elementary school. As for DOC, the office is extremely clean, decor pleasentries and the office staff do their jobs very well. Dr. Cabana is kind, very aware of maintaining the patient's discomfort level as low as possible and her work on my teeth looks great from a cosmetic standpoint. I have major anxiety related to loosing any of my teeth which is exacerbated by a medical condition that causes very dry mouth. Dr. Cabana does all she can to relieve that anxiety, which I feel confident would extend to those who are anxious about getting into a dentist's office. DOC also accepts several insurance plans & due to the fact they are a group of offices, I have had all emergency calls returned quickly. Another plus, the practice has some Friday appointments available. To sum it up, my experiences with DOC have been great! I would highly recommend DOC to anyone in need of a dentist. DOC has offices all over the Charlotte metro area.5+ stars to the University office.

The entire staff is friendly, patient, and professional. I came in for a consultation after years of not going to the dentist, and they made me feel comfortable rather than judged. We developed a plan I could take at whatever pace worked for me and my insurance coverage, and I've had nothing but great experiences in treatments since!
