This Dental office is deceptive and not trustworthy. I asked in advance if they "take my insurance" after giving them all the info (and a card photocopy) and was told yes. However, they made me pay after my appt. and submitted the claim for me, telling me all patients pay them directly. They never said they were out of network at the beginning or end.
I called BCBS for claim status and they told me the Dentist is "out of network" and received the claim 8 days after my appt. I will be reimbursed at a fraction of normal coverage.
This office knew darn well what I meant by "take my insurance". In 40+ years of Dr. visits and using the same verbiage, I have never experienced this deception. Absolutely a slimey office!
