Dr. Hoogar is absolutely incredible. She went above and beyond while fixing my teeth. She keeps you in the loop at all times while fixing your tooth. Doing things like grabbing a mirror midway through fixing your tooth, and showing you exactly what she needs to do. She takes you opinion above her own to make you happy. And before my series of appointments was over she asked what I personally don’t like about my teeth and went ahead to fix it all. She’s made me proud to smile and I haven’t been able to do that for years now. She has done things I’ve never experienced with a dentist and is so pleasant to deal with. Her staff is second to none. Highly recommend.

I first went to smile and shine because I had gone to the dentist who was in the same location previously, but I keep going back because they are friendly, knowledgeable, thorough, and competent. The staff is friendly and helpful and the dentist is great, and I’m saying this after just having a tooth pulled… highly recommend.

Awesome! I've been going here since they opened. The young woman who works the front desk is incredible, her name is Becka. The office staff are always professional and explain everything before the Dr. comes in. The is very gentle and keeps you feeling relaxed the whole time? She will hand you a mirror sure you where the problem is so you understand what she is doing. Come try them out I'm sure you agree this is the dentist for your family too.

Dr. Hoogar accepts medicare and medicaid. When they denied my mom her dentures, Dr.Hoogar re-filed the paperwork and we got full approvals.

I would highly recommend Smile & Shine Dental Studio to anyone! Starting with the moment I called to schedule an emergency appointment it was a pleasant experience. Dr. Hoogar was wonderful!! She helped put my nervous husband at ease and was so patient with all our questions. She made sure to explain all of our options for a treatment plan, which we really appreciated as not all dentists will do that. Also, Rebecca at the front desk was so friendly and accommodating! She made sure to walk my husband and I through everything along the way. The office was also very clean and homey! If you are looking for a dentist I would definitely recommend this one!

By far the easiest experience I've had with a dentist office. Got an appointment within a week. They helped look up my insurance quickly to confirm my coverage. Cleaning with Melanie was great. Not uncomfortable and quick. She was very thorough. Dr. Byrd was great too. Made time to answer all my questions. Did not make me feel like i was just a number. Will definitely be returning

My experience with Mamata Hoogar at Smile & Shine was excellent. She was very attentive to my concerns and needs and is a very thorough and disciplined dentist. I was really happy to see the pictures of what was going on with my teeth and hear her explanation of what was the cause of the problems I had along with the recommendation for treatment. I highly recommend her!!!
