The problem here is not whether or not the staff is friendly, OR whether or not your cleaning once or twice a year was performed without a hitch. If you have problems with your teeth that require several visits a year, then you'll realize the problem with this practice. Their primary interest is in how much time off the dentist can have. Every appointment I had scheduled in advance and arranged with my employer, Friendly Dental was sure to call and ask me to reschedule because the dentist had something come up or something else to do. And yes, I was actually told that. I had a toothache on a Thursday and the dentist had the day off. I was told that someone would call me later that day to see if I needed something for pain until I could be seen, but no one ever called back. I went to the office at 9 a.m. on Friday because I was told they would be open, and they were closed. I don't understand how a new practice trying to establish itself gives the dentist a day off during the week without insisting she at least be on call. I had an appointment for a filling scheduled a couple of months in advance, and because of all the issues with the dentist and her time off always being a priority, I was debating back and forth whether I wanted to go back - and sure enough, three days before my appointment, I got a phone call asking me to CHANGE MY APPOINTMENT TIME to earlier in the day, I'm sure so the dentist could have more time off that day. That was the final straw. Drs.Cohen & Abrams are well-established dentists in North Carolina, but unfortunately, this is just an investment office for them - they do not practice here. In that regard, my insurance company misled me. I think they should both take heed what's going on in this Holly Springs office that carries their names on it. I am completely soured on any "Friendly Dental" office.
So bottom line is, if you need a REAL dentist who keeps real office hours without constant fluctuation, and who will actually be available to address any concerns you might have during what should be regular office hours, Friendly Dental is not the place for you. I think this dentist leaving me stranded when I had a toothache, without even a referral to someone else I could call, is deplorable and unforgivable - and it was during a regular business day! Unbelievable!

My expierence was excellent. The staff was very friendly. My wait time was minimal and my treatment was pain free. The hygienist was gentle and explained my treatment to me very well. I would recommend Friendly Dental Group to family and friends.
