I moved from South Carolina and needed to find a local dentist. Thankfully the Lord led me to Dr. Clark. He is an amazing dentist. He recommended flexible partials for me as I have only 14 of my own. He had to extract one tooth that had broken underneath a crown and I have never had an extraction go so painlessly. Dr. Clark rates number one in my book with his dental expertise and patient manner. My partials will be ready soon and I look forward to being able to smile again. I have been very pleased with the professional and friendly manner of Dr. Clark and all

I thought I had a loose filling causing the intense pain. Appointment was easy to set up at Marion Family Dental. The dentist took two x-rays @ $175, the more expensive of the two I later learned wasn't necessary. He gave me a few options, one of which was a root canal. I wasn't comfortable with his manner so got a 2nd opinion from my dad's dentist, who found that the tooth was cracked all the way to the root. About 1/4 of the tooth was completely loose from the main body of the tooth, so it was clearly evident that a root canal would not be an option. I believe Marion Family Dentist is more interested in money that the patient's best interest. Glad I decided to go elsewhere.

I unfortunately visited this office today on the recommendation of another dentist in town. I relayed my experience to the referring dental office and of course they were shocked. I called ahead to inquire about an appointment to have a crown re adhered after it came loose. I was told they had an appointment in 2 hrs. I couldn't believe my luck and accepted the time slot. Once there I had to complete the standard paperwork and of course they made sure I had insurance. Once finished, I was rushed into an examination room where I was quick talked into receiving a barrage of what I believe to be unnecessary xrays. As soon as that was completed and after waiting for another 45 minutes I had a very brief visit for the doctor himself. Apparently only to inform me of the state of the rest of my teeth.
All of this to then be told by the assistant or PA that she didn't feel comfortable putting the crown back on. I was mislead. I lost 3 hrs of work because of this. I certainly believe they knew exactly what they were doing. They preformed all the services that most dental insurances cover at 100% a few times a year. I will be contacting my insurance company in the morning about what they did and to make sure they know I believe the services were unnecessary and thus shouldn't cover any of it. Additionally I have already started filing a formal complaint with the State's dental regulatory agency.
