Only in town for a short period of time, I had to take care of some emergent dental work within several weeks. At Smiles By Design, I had an appointment scheduled as soon as I could have hoped for, had follow-ups taken care of as quickly as possible, had consistently exceptional treatment, had everything explained to me, and had all the administrative parts taken care of quickly and easily. Every member of the staff from when I walked in the door and on was personable and professional.
And, as a bonus, the office is very nice and doesn't feel like the occasional barebones hovel that you might find some places.

These guys make the dreaded dentist visit SUCH a breeze!!! I’ve been worked on by both Dr. Dwyer and Dr. Axvig. Their care is so personal and professional. My teeth needed some emergency work and I’ve had root canals, crowns, etc. done by them. All I can say is I know I’m in good hands there. All their hygienists and other staff are friendly, professional, organized.... it’s great! I’m never going anywhere else.

When it comes to compassion, care and professionalism the Axvig Team tips the scale. My wife and I where not getting proper cleanings and where fortunate when we decided to try Smiles by Design and Dr Axvig. Awesome job. Maria and her assistant Angie did a fantastic job. Straight forward, honest but more importantly they removed my toxic and quite dangerous mercury “amalgam” filling SAFELY. They were 100% transparent the entire time. They listened to my demands and needs FIRST; which is quite pleasing to see an office that puts the clients needs’ first. Highly recommend anyone with amalgam fillings to go here and get them removed SAFELY. The assistant also did a splendid job. She was very friendly and honest. Very satisfied!
