South High Dental

I have been a patient at South High Dental for over 20 years. The staff is always welcoming and helpful, and Dr. Paulson truly cares about the dental health of his patients. Most recently, I broke a tooth on vacation. With a jagged edge and experiencing some sensitivity, I called the office to get an appointment to have it checked out. They got me in as soon as I got back to Ohio. Dr. P checked it out and made the necessary repairs. He was careful to make sure I was comfortable through the procedure. My tooth is now good as new and stronger than before. Though I live in Circleville, and no longer work in Columbus, I wouldn't go any place else for my dental care. I highly recommend this fantastic team.

I hadn't had dental care in almost 10 years. Mainly due to no insurance. I now have great dental insurance through my current job. Had some irritation for a few days. A family member referred me to South High Dental. I'm really so glad she did.
They have a really nice facility. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Very professional and knowledgeable. They got right to the point, and put together a plan, to get my dental care back up to par. This visit alone, was a real milestone. Dr. Paulson, Olivia, and Angel, are super! I experienced no pain or discomfort at all. After they finished, I felt so much better. Later that evening, when the numbness wore off, I still felt better than before. Today, the day after my visit, I'm completely satisfied, and still have no pain. I greatly appreciate Dr. Paulson, and his staff, for getting me back on a path to proper dental care. If you're looking for a great dental facility and staff, I highly recommend South High Dental.

My family has been going to South High Dental for over 20 years. They have done a wonderful job on all of us. We get our checkups every 6 months and it has been years since I have had a cavity. The people at South High Dental are great!

The worst customer service experience I’ve ever had!
I needed a few of my fillings done so I had to have 2 different appointments so they schedule me with 2 different people, the first girl did a great job but the second one had my teeth hurting even after a month of having them done, they also have a weird color to it reddish/black not white like they’re supposed to be, they still look like cavities because of the color.
When I called I asked the receptionist to schedule me with the first girl I had she confused their with Second girl, she had told me that she shouldn’t have done my fillings because she didn’t have her license to perform that yet, when I asked her what does she mean by that, she tried to change the subject.
That was the first issue I had with them, then they going to bill me $82 for cleaning when my insurance always covered them they have never charged me until now, and now that I’m trying to pay them, it has been two weeks since I’ve been calling them back to back and they don’t answer their phones or return their calls, I left so many voicemails and nothing.
I’ll have to take time out of my day to go over there and pay since their website isn’t working for that and since they don’t pick up the phone or return any calls.
This is so inconvenient and unprofessional, I do not recommend this place if you want professional help and someone to answer the phone when you call.

They are dishonest about pricing. I was a first time customer and they told me that they took my insurance, so I went in for a routine cleaning since that was covered by my insurance. They also chose to do X-rays, which I figured was fine since those are also included on my insurance. Then they stuck me with a big bill to pay, and the receptionist couldn’t give me a clear answer as to why I was having to pay anything. We settled on something along the lines of ‘we will bill your insurance and if there’s a discrepancy you’ll get a refund.’ So I let it go. Called back the next week and was told they were out-of-network for my insurance and that’s why I had to pay, and I would be getting no refund. I was told that I should have verified with my insurance that services would have been covered there. But when someone tells me they take my insurance, I would expect them to at least tell me if it was out of network because otherwise I’m going in thinking it will all be covered! I was told that I should have known better, and that I should have specifically asked them if it was out of network. Zero accountability on their end, and they refuse to make any of it right. If they’re shady about this, who knows what else they’re lying about? DO NOT TRUST THEM.

South High Dental is always prompt & keeps you informed on what you will have to pay up front. Everyone is very friendly there! They will take good care of your dental needs.

I had a good experience today with Angel. She was professional and had a great demeanor. I didn't give 5 stars because I felt I waited to long after I was numbed before the treatment began.

I have gone to South High Dental for as long as I can remember and the staff there is absolutely amazing! They are so friendly and professional and they make it a place you want to visit and look forward to visiting.

No follow up unfortunately. I like that it is easy to book online plus they have great hours! But they made me wait for the price for dental work, and then never had an answer for me. Then they front desk forgot to give my insurance card back, and I had to go back to get it (which I should’ve realized too). They said they would email me a quote, and never did. Unfortunately, I just do not feel like they care enough about their patients and there is no follow up. I was ready to pay a pretty large amount to get dental work done, but still do not even know any details. I need to get a crown, but will probably be headed somewhere else, where they care a little more about their patients.
