Everyone was very friendly, but someone on the staff told my mom and dad one thing about the financials of his procedure, then we get there and it's a completely different story. They told my dad he needed about $500 more to have his procedure. Although someone had told them on the phone almost a week before, when he came for the procedure, he wouldn't need anymore money. He had been up all night at work and we sat there for over two hours just for him to not be able to have his procedure. Staff definitely needs to work on communication and what they tell their patients.

Hygienist is great! Dentist acted like I was an inconvenience and didn't have time for me. Literally speed talking to me and was in and out of my room in less than 60 seconds. Wait times at the Middletown Ohio location are atrocious. I waited almost 40 minutes to be called back this time, the last appointment I had I waited an hour. It's not difficult to schedule or staff appropriately so your patients don't deal with this. Probably why the dentist was in such a hurry to check me and move on.

Started out at Center Point Health. Worst experience in my life. Found Aspen Dental. I was in desperate need of a tooth extraction. They did great. No pain what so ever, unlike Center Point. Staff super friendly. Defiantly got over my fear of the dentist.

First impressions last. Today would have been my first appt, made just yesterday. I drive almost 20 mins to get there just to be told I don't have an appt because I didn't confirm it. I am a new patient and spent a good while on the phone yesterday. The lady was put off that I was still there after telling me I didn't have an appt. Then finally offered to let me wait if I wanted. Nope this place wouldn't be even good enough for my dog with people like that. I have options.

I was called 30 minutes before my kids appointment that they were going to have to reschedule, when I called I asked why and they stated it was because they over booked and closed at noon. I took the day off for this and no apology.

Let me share my experience,
Made the appointment because I have a badly infected root canal, upon arrival the staff was friendly, however they wanted to do a full set of X-ray's, I informed them that my insurance may not covered a full set, so the tech checked with the Dentist and he said just to X-ray the tooth. I spoke with a office lady and we were having my X-ray's emailed from my prior dentist, problem solved... I thought. So 3 X-ray's of the tooth. Then a hygentist did a exam. Then the Dentist comes in and says he can take the tooth out for me today, Yay! But not so fast he asks me about a full set of X-ray's I explained that my prior Dentist was sending them and I don't believe Insurance will cover another set so soon, he says OK and he will be back. Then the X-ray tech takes me back to the X-ray room and says OK we are going to do 10 more X-ray's. . What? I question the need for this and she says she will be back. Mind you I am in a immense amount of pain my blood pressure was 169/118 which is way high compared to my normal which is low. At this point I am confused on why all of this could not have been on a follow up appointment. The Dentist had the X-ray of my tooth, it's infected and he said he could remove it, and I feel like this is so ridiculous. I politely inform them that at this point 1 hour and 15 min later that I just want to leave. Needless to say I have a abscess and still have this dang tooth in my mouth. The only positive thing was the staff was friendly. I thought I had found a new place for myself and my families Dental needs. I am extremely dissapointed and hope I can find someone else to see before I end up really ill from this Tooth
The communication was awful

I have recently had a tooth extracted from this location that was three weeks ago today it has finally quit throbbing. I was surprised to get a bill for 140.00. Now i need a cavity filled it is now painful but since they didn't "guess " ight about how much my insurance would pay and i can't pay the bill in full i can't get them to fill the cavity. They tell you that on the day of the visit you owe $24 ( i also called today to see how much it csot to get a filling, she said $24, no surprise). Well don't believe that is all you'll owe, i even asked them if that was all i owe for the work done she said yes. Well surprise, surprise, surprise. My advice, have their billing department in "new York" call your insurance to get the real price before letting them do anything. The staff is very nice and they are gentle but now because of a wrong "GUESS" i can't get pain relief for the tooth that is hurting. Looks like i will have to look somewhere else.

I made an appt for a Friday. When I called I explained that I have no dental insurance, asked them a price, they gave me a quote and explained that I would have free xray, exam and then told me what the cleaning would cost. I made the appointment. When I showed up for the appt., I was told that they tried to call me (which I had no missed call from them) and that their office manager had a meeting and was not there to go over pricing with me so I could not have the cleaning. I explained that I had been quoted a price and didn't understand why I could not have the cleaning. I was told that they don't have a hygienst on Fridays. ?? I asked then why was I scheduled. Their answer was that their scheduling line does not have their hygienst schedule. This was such a scam! I wasted my day planning for this appt - only so apparently they could get me in there and play games. The girl at the front desk seemed unconcerned how inconvenient this was to a customer. They didn't even offer any compensation whatsoever as In a reduced appointment for the inconvenience of this. She asked me to reschedule, but since this was my first experience with Aspen, I don't think I want to deal with them a second time and told her that I would find another place.
After reading other posts, I'm feeling lucky that I didn't get in that day...as I suspectby the "manager not being there to discuss costs with me" I would have been given a totally different price quote/story. I am very disappointed, I was hoping this Company would be a good source for dental.

I went because part of my filling had come out due to be eating a lollipop. I made this clear when I called (as a new patient) and was never informed that I had to have my teeth professionally cleaned before they could fix the filling. I wait an hour and a half just to be told this. The dentist put in a temporary filler, which I said never works and can’t I just have my teeth cleaned that day and they can do the filling. In which I was told I would have to set up another appointment. I was then given a treatment plan that was $2,584. They said I had all these diseases in 8 of my teeth that needed to be taken care of first. On the treatment plan that was printed for me, it showed me actually getting a filling in the 7th visit. The 7th!!! I have TONS of fillings in my teeth. I have never been told I needed to have my teeth cleaned or anything before a filling could be done. None of my teeth, gums or anything is bothering me. Only the one where the filling came out and only when I eat something. I was so upset. This was an emergency visit as even described by the lady that made my appointment and my issue would not have been taken care of until the 7th visit. Oh, and that temporary filling they put in came out in my car as I was leaving the dental office. I will Never go back to this place!! Talk about price gouging and taking advantage of people during a pandemic!!!

The dental assistant was so funny and nice. They did a great job on my teeth and explained things clearly. She did tell me I should have a tooth corrected but it was filled in by one of their dentists who didn’t do a great job the 1st time.
