SmileKeepers is a good business. The staff are all super friendly and my experience with them was definitely above standard.
My daughter, who is 5 years old, had never had a filling before. Dr. Carmel was friendly, kind and took her time explaining everything that was happening when my daughter was being seen by her. This helped reduce her anxiousness and stress. At the end of the visit, the staff gave my daughter kudo's for being so brave and provided a pleasant experience to work with from start to finish.
The equipment on site seems a bit dated. But nothing too drastic that would cause much fuss.
The reason for my 3 star rating is due to my daughters filling falling out. After the filling was put in, I noticed it was a dark opal color. At the time I figured nothing of it. About a week after her appointment the filling had fallen out, the decay came back and we are now hustling to get into a different dentistry to resolve the original issue.
It's disheartening that my daughter had to have a filling once already and now will have to experience being uncomfortable again. Hopefully though, this time around will be better.
I've had family come to this dentistry who have had a positive experience. All for except the filling falling out, my daughter had a very positive experience. Perhaps the issue was with the filling material they use for adolescents being different than what they use for adults? I'm not entirely sure.
In any case, I commend the staff for their friendly and welcoming demeanor and wish their business luck in the future. Due to the outcome of our first and only visit though, I will be taking my families dentistry needs elsewhere.

My recent experience with Smile Keepers was excellent. A piece of my molar had broken off and they got me in immediately to repair it. I was impressed with how quickly they got to me and Dr. Lelande was very gentle and informed me of the steps through the process. He did a perfect job with the filling and I couldn't be happier. Thank you to everyone who works there for your professional and caring team!

This place is so disorganized I was called in several times for the same thing then denied the end result they threw my partial away and made another without the insurances approval and refuse to give it to me now wanting to charge me after they threw mine away guess what throw the one you made me in the trash this is by far the worst dentist office I have ever been to very rough doctors as well the denturist has no idea what is going on please save yourself a headache and seek elsewhere

The staff at Gentle Dental are amazing! I have had a fear of dentists most of my life, however Doctor Carmel Townshend and her assistants have really helped me overcome that fear with their gentle and professional demeanor and their positive attitude. I highly recommend Gentle Dental for any and all dental needs! 💗💗💗

This rating isn't accurate. I would give This place less than a 1 for scheduling availability, a 3 for quality of service based on the fact this place is a dental assembly line and that would be all. Except for Karla Pool. Karla is a 5+! She is a hygienist at the Grants Pass location. She was observant and considerate of my physical challenges and knowledgeable enough to offer the right kind of assistance without making me feel embarrassed or uncomfortable. This kind of person is truly rare. Not only in medical and dental fields but in the world at large.

My first visit today. The office was very busy. Waiting room is a bit snug. But the staff was absolutely amazing and kind. The dentist was straight forward but very nice. I wish I would of came here years ago. I recommend them to anyone.
Update. I went back the very next day after they called me with an opening. I didn't have to wait 2 and a half months to get my teeth pulled. I had been at a different dental office a few months prior to them. Who tried to remove 2 teeth and couldn't. Then could never get me back in. But Smile Keepers did. And it didn't hurt like the other office had it hurting me. I wanted to cry from happiness that they were finally pulled out. I have waited over a year at the other place. She actually pulled 4 teeth. And none of it hurt when she did. Just recovery hurts. Lol. Love this office!

This dentist office is the absolute WORST to their patients. I've been with them for almost two years now, waiting to get cavities filled. Each appointment is at least 2 months out, and then at the last minute, sometimes the morning of my appt, they call to reschedule me out for another couple of months. I've ended up waiting over 4 months for my next appt. This is a small town and I've told them many times how hard it is for me to arrange childcare ahead of time, but they don't seem to care. I've been so patient, thinking maybe it's due to insurance policies, or availability, but they are so inconsiderate to their patients, regardless. At one point, they wrote my name and number on a supposed "cancelation list", and would call if an appointment opened up, they even asked how much notice I would need. And so I patiently waited another couple months before calling to inquire, and was then told that I was MISTAKEN and that, in fact, I was the one who was supposed to be calling every day, twice a day, to check for cancellations. Which is ridiculous. Why in the hell should I have to call ten times a week when you have my name and number written down on your desk? I am beyond angry. And remember, I trudged along for over a year like this, only having been seen TWICE, trying to be understanding and patient, until finally I realized that they just dont give a sh*t about their low income patients. Personally I believe they are waiting as long as they possibly can to fix my cavities, until they are just about to break out of my mouth. I would have bailed out long ago if the coronavirus wasn't making it so that providers aren't accepting as many new patients. I hate this place. They are horrible.
