I recently had a long surgical procedure removing some teeth to be replaced with several implants performed by Dr. Madden. I was amazed how smoothly the surgical procedure progressed. Dr. Madden's professional attitude and skills helped me feel very confident under his care. It's still hard to believe that I incurred no pain throughout this procedure. It's been over a month and have no complaints what so ever. Any adjustments that have been necessary have been address in a timely and professional manner. I can not express enough my gratitude for a job well performed.

Been going to them for everything mouth related since 2018! For regular appointments, to gum grafts, night guards, resin tooth fillings (front teeth!), Invisalign, and breath training. They helped me align my lower front tooth which was a source of grinding/chipping. In preparation for that, they performed a graft on my lower gums which went very well and raised my gum line to healthy levels ahead of the Invisalign procedure, which would, in turn, recede the gum slightly. We also decided to investigate why I had significantly receded lower gums to begin with, so that I could hopefully not go through this all over again in 10 years. We explored my diet, breathing habits, and nasal passage which all have a part to play in mouth health just as much as teeth do. We determined that I was physiologically inclined towards mouth breathing and took steps to encourage nasal breathing which is more efficient, more natural for the human body, and ultimately impacts the topology of the mouth and my gums. I’m happy with the actions we took that ultimately changed my breathing/eating/exercising habits which will take me into old age with straight teeth and healthy gums!

Overall, my experience with Hood River Dental was great. The doctors and staff are very pleasant and professional, and the procedure (a double wisdom tooth extraction) was completely painless and cheaper than expected. I would've given 5 stars, but I subtracted one because my appointment was rescheduled 3 hours before it was to take place, having been set up 2 weeks earlier. They had scheduled me with the doctor who diagnosed me, but he doesn't do extractions. They were able to get me in only 3 hours later than my original appointment with another doctor, so it wasn't a huge hassle, but still aggravating. Like I said, overall a great experience, but with one hiccup. Will go back again for any dental needs in the future.

I always hated the dentist, because the shots and cleanings always hurt until I came here to hood river dental! I never feel the shots and the cleaning are fun. The doctors and staff here are some friendly and welcoming, they greet you at the door by name. Now I don't hate the dentist, if you want a great experience then you need to come see the friendly staff of hood river dental I know you will love them too.

Super service and very professional crew! Hygienist Alli was very thorough and did a super job. Dr. Haynie was very pleasant, and informative. Also, really enjoyed the visual presentation with great photos of the teeth and explanation of current status and plan of care. Thank you HR Dental!!!

Just had a crown put in by Dr Ben Gonzales and dental technician, Britney (spelling likely wrong)… and, it was GREAT! Took their time. Used cool machines. Made sure I was not uncomfortable. 6-star service!
