I was called by Kirkpatrick himself, he was requesting information on my son's new dentist. (We transfered dentists to get a second opinion and to find a more child specific option) I told him I was driving and would like to discuss this later. The tone of the conversation changed to a more serious nature. Kirkpatrick states that if I refuse to tell him this information that he will report me to DHS for possible neglect.he urges me to give him this information before he does so. I tell him that "I don't feel like giving out this personal information, if the new dentist needs anything they will contact you", I called my local police department to verify. Yes I have a right to not give out information if I don't want to. A dentist is an elective service. To avoid looking unworthy of being a parent I called Kirkpatrick back and gave them the requested info. In MY opinion this is a scare tactic and bullying. It's harassment. Demeaning. Unprofessional and unfair. I have never felt more scared from a paid professional in my life. I hope others have better experiences. Good luck.
