I knew what my end was. Fixed my issue and came up with a long term plan and my options. Really down to earth and opened for my emergency. Come see for yourself. : )

Everyone here is awesome! Especially Sung Yeon she is always so friendly and so kind with my kiddos when they come in. It makes a stressful situation less stressful! Will keep coming back!

Dr. Ji took over this practice from Dr. Glenn about a year ago and it has been a smooth transition. I am very impressed with his professionalism and thoroughness. Dr. Ji is very good about thoroughly explaining all aspects of your dental health in terms that are readily understandable by the patient. My wife and I are both continuing patients at Oregon Smiles and I highly recommend Dr. Ji if you are looking for a dentist in the Oregon City area.

Very courteous, professional and thorough. Returned for a root canal; Dr Ji was very gentle, thorough and helped me calm my fears.

I went for my first appointment several weeks ago and I have mixed feelings about this office. My first appointment seemed a little overkill for a new patient exam. I ended up being there for nearly 3 hours. I assumed I would be there for roughly one. Although I had X-rays done at my previous dental provider and they were sent to this office, they said they were of lower quality and this office would need to take new ones. They took new ones and when I saw the new ones they were of the exact quality as my last ones. I've seen both and it was indistinguishable in quality, angle and rendering. I have a feeling it had more to do with the ability to take them and have my insurance cover it, so why wouldn't they get extra money from my insurance, right? My teeth were then cleaned to my satisfaction. The hygienist did a great job. I had to wait a while and was eventually seen by the dentist. I've had work done twice on the same tooth by two different dentists and they both had the same explanation for why it was a problem. Before I said this to the dentist he informed me that we needed to drill out this tooth and do it again. I told him I had just had it done 6 month earlier and he said maybe we should leave it then. He gave a different reason for its problems. I tended to disagree with his assessment. He was kind, but felt a little salesman-y to me. We talked for a while and I felt like he was trying to upsell me on services that I didn't necessarily need. Ultimately, I did decide to get Fluoride put on my teeth for the extra money and added time in the office, but it probably wasn't necessary. I don't mind that I did it, but, as a well informed patient, I worry that others may do it or have other services they don't need because the up sell nature of the office. Yes, they have 5 star reviews, but they also offer patients $25 Amazon gift card for giving a review as well as entering patients into prize drawings. Although they give the $25 no matter what type of review you leave, incentivising reviews tends to bias more positive reviews. That kind of incentive for leaving a review sounds great to me, but it also made me think that maybe I should give 5 stars instead of three, just to make sure I got the incentive. No one wants to be the odd one out holding a sign that says "Hey, I didn't have the same 5-star experience everyone else had." Is this a bad office? No, but it does cause me to question each line item offered to me whether I truly need the service or wether it is part of their upsell to make a little more off of each patient. Again, this is just the feeling/hunch I got while being here for 3 hours, l'll probably give them another try, but I am definitely questioning if I should search for a new dentist.

Everyone is great! Friendly and caring, Doctor G. was very personable, and took the time to explain every detail, (what was causing what, why it happens, and what can be done to prevent it) and did so in a very easy to understand way. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be returning!

Oregon City smiles have two great Doctors Dr. SUNG and Dr JI. Debbie their hygienist is the Best I have ever been to. Everyone is super nice and helpful. Thanks for everything.

I have an extreme fear of dentistry, but the Dr. Ji and his staff really put me at ease. They don't patronize or talk to you like a dummy. Malia and Deb were great. They have a patient for life.

My daughter had a dental emergency by the time she got home from school on a Friday (~3p). Their website said they were open, but the website wasn’t accurate, and they were actually closed. But the receptionist who answered called the dentist, who then came into the office to help us anyway! My daughter’s emergency was handled well, and we were in and out in a flash.

This was the best dental experience I’ve ever had. Staff is competent, pleasant and accommodating. I will make them my permanent dental office.
