As someone who greatly fears and hates going to the dentist, I can confidently say this was the best dental appointment I have ever had! Thank you to, Front desk Joey and Cameron, dental pros Wendy and Erica, and Dr. B! Y’all made me feel so safe, taken care of, and comfortable. Everything was clearly explained to me. I was to especially thank Erica for having such a gentle and kind touch when cleaning my teeth. Dr. B is amazing!!! Loved her and the whole team was a joy to work with. Wendy is also hilarious. Thank you, for making me less scared of going to the dentist! Keep shining y’all! 💓

Best dentist-going experience I’ve ever had! I tend to avoid the dentist (like... for years at a time) so I was super nervous for my appointment. But the entire team did such a great job of making me feel welcomed and comfortable. They were busy that day, but I never felt like things were rushed. Dr. Bellez and the team were thorough in explaining every step of the appointment, going over potential costs and what's covered by insurance before doing the work, and making sure all my questions were answered by the time I left. I think I actually ENJOYED going to the dentist??! 100% would recommend!

Extra bonus points for: 1- being covid-safe, 2- having a parking lot, and 3- online appointment scheduling

Dr. Todd and his staff were so friendly and warm. They explained everything they were doing BEFORE doing it. They provided sunglasses so I wouldn’t be squinting under the bright light during my cleaning which I’ve NEVER had offered before. They showed me breakdowns of every charge and helped me understand my insurance. Legitimately the best dentist experience I’ve ever had!

After not going to the dentist for many years, this is exactly the dentist I needed. The dental staff is so kind and everyone in the building is very understanding. I have been able to explain my dental situation without judgment. They have been very understanding about financial barriers. I appreciate how willing the doctors are to explain what is happening. Will definitely be coming back—thanks for always making me feel comfortable!

The staff here is really nice and professional! It’s the first dentist I’ve had that makes sure I’m totally numb before they start drilling. They are also very transparent with their pricing and walk through all of it with you before you make any decisions :)

I’ve been coming to Portland Modern Dentistry since I moved to the area in 2020. The whole team is always so incredibly friendly, kind and efficient! Maria is very speedy in her cleaning work and keeps me distracted from unpleasant dental noises by talking about our favorite TV shows. I recommend this office anytime someone needs a dentist referral!

I’ve been going to PMD for about 2 years. They are extremely communicative and make going to the dentist easy. I love Maria and Wendy, who know how to put you at ease when you have tubes hanging out of your mouth. No complaints here.

Dr. Todd and team are communicative, friendly, and attentive. After my routine checkup earlier this year, I've gone back for multiple treatments. They've taken great care of me!

Joey , Cam the receptionist were phenomenal, helped and answered every question with great detail. Was more than patient, Wendy was my assistant was great , polite and professional as well, and Dr. Todd was great and straight to the point providing me with all my options I would go no other place but here for dental care , this is the kind of establishment you come back to from out of town, if you moved away. I would give 20 stars if possible!!!

I have been treated by many DMDs through all stages of my life and Portland Modern Dentistry is the best I have experienced.

After a very complete set of X-Rays, and a thorough examination Dr. Cao explained the details of my treatment plan. After we came to agreement on the work that would be done Joey from the front desk came in and sat next to me to show the cost of every procedure and crown required. The information was presented in a spreadsheet with columns showing the total overall cost; what my insurance would pay; and my total out of pocket expense. This is exactly what I needed and I was pleased to see how complete it was and the low final cost.

I have been treated by many DMDs where costs for services are very uncertain. I have often been told things like "I think your insurance covers it" or "I think it will cost this much"......
Most often I was approving work to be done without certainty of the cost. Portland Modern Dentistry eliminates such cost uncertainty.

Dr. Cao is very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and she listened very carefully, and then responded to all my questions and concerns. She did an excellent job removing an existing crown and prepped the base for the new crown.

The staff technicians were all friendly, gentle, caring, and technically competent.

The 3-D scan of the existing teeth was awesome. This gave me confidence that the crown would be accurately formed and provide a perfect fit. Which it did!
