Advanced Dentistry of Collegeville

Not trustworthy at all; they fix appointment and don't keep it. I visited today for a dental appointment. As soon as i arrived a tech took my dental x-ray without doctor even having a look at my tooth to evaluate if an x-ray was really required. Later i was asked to wait for few moments; 30 minutes after someone came and informed that doctor is busy and i need to wait more. I informed that i have an important meeting at office so can't wait more and i have informed at the time of scheduling that i have a tight schedule so please only book appointment if it could be met in time.

Dear Dr. Silva and Staff, as I have told you, I have spent many, many hours in the dental chair...from Baltimore, Indiana, Bethlehem, Philadelphia and now safe and sound with your office. So, I can say with some real authority, Dr. Silva, you really know how to take care of issues in the mouth. You are stuck with me for life! I've already referred some of my friends, and I'm not done yet. On another note, when I was having some jaw issues recently, I hesitated to call you because yours is a robust practice, but you got me in the same day to take a look. I was also impressed that you never rushed to some diagnosis but rather took another approach. You gave me exercises to do and asked me to come in for another follow up apt on this issue. Then, to my surprise and delight, you did not charge for the consultation, which ended up being more of a "complete and detailed examination of my symptoms and jaw". I appreciate all the time and genuine care you gave me, both that time and every time I come to your office. I am so glad you chose this profession. You operate your office at such a high standard and everyone you train and hire keeps pace with you. My suggestion to anyone who is not totally in love with their dental experience to come meet Dr. Silva and to give her office a try. You "should" love your dentist. If you want a second opinion, get it here. You won't be sorry, you'll be so happy that you visited Advanced Dentistry...you will tell your closest friends and family and maybe even gush about it on Google like I did. I'm truly impressed with this dental office. The doctors and assistants are top-notch and I felt confident that I'm treated with high-quality care. Especially, I would like to thank Jen and Tischa for their professionalism and genuine care for my concerns as a patient. I sometimes get nervous visiting the dentist but these ladies made me feel at ease going through the procedures. Thank you so much!

On one Sunday morning my tooth broke in half. With no family dentist I called on a Sunday afternoon to leave a message I needed an appointment. To my surprise Dr. Nelly Silva answered the telephone and without question told me to be there in the morning. Dr. Silva and her staff share the latest technology available today, but more important the service and care given to all is top notch and they are truly are "Masters" in Dentistry.

Great Atmosphere and Great Care! I always love my time at the Dentist. The staff is professional and my cleaning are always finished quickly. If you are in Montgomery County. This is the dentist you should go to.

Dr. Nelly and her team are the best. They are my go to resource for all my dental and airway challenges. Dr. Nelly is so thorough in her examination and looks at you whole health picture, not just what is going on with your teeth. I feel very cares for.

Let me start by saying...I am terrified of the Dentist. I only go if I am in pain. The x-ray showed an abscess tooth which needed a root canal. I was treated with compassion and empathy. They offer a sedation option that made the entire process completely painless. I don't even remember the root canal surgery. AWESOME!!! I would highly recommend Advanced Dentistry to anyone--especially if you have anxiety of the dentist.
My daughter goes every 6 months, and she too loves everyone there. Its a very friendly environment.

Staff and dentists were terrible. 2 major procedures were done with numerous errors. There are so many different people working there that there were literally 5 of them in/out of my room trying to get a temp. crown out of my mouth. First employee tired unsuccessfully and told me she suspected they put permanent glue on the temp crown. I was in pain for 1 week. Each time I visited, they always find a way to tell you that additional work needs to be done. I am not sure of how honest this practice is. Beware. Cleaning are fine but other stuff, beware.

Dr. Silva dentistry was by far one of the worst experience I have ever had with a medical professional. Not only did she completely overlook stiches needed to a molar extraction, I needed to return the day after due to her breaking the tooth behind the extraction that had a filling, had her assitant do a quick patch with no prep. She also need to remove addition tooth fragments that she missed because she had other patients waiting.
She offered no prescription for antibiotics or pain killers over a Christmas break which would of been fine if I didn't develop dry socket because of the lack of stiches that were clearly needed. Horrible experience.
I found her completely unprofessional, rude and held an additude when I expressed concern over my original consultation. Honestly, now this is over and behind me... I wouldn't let her work on my dogs teeth.
However to be fair, I did return days later in pain with the dry socket.. the other practicing Dentist was very nice and took great care of me. Agreed I should of had stiches and a prescription before leaving.
I dont ever post this stuff but do yourself a favor and stay away from Silva... just my opinion.

Went here to have dental work done by a dentist who is no longer there. Was good at first until the implant that he put in my mouth started to become sore where I couldn’t eat so after making and paying off the loan it had to be removed. They left the screw in my mouth and never removed it. It has been bothering me, no one over there answers there phone. And don’t know if I can get my refund. Starting to think I might not get the screw out or be able to get my refund. Not a good experience!
