I have had the worst experience with Casey Dental… I have had an appointment scheduled since last year, and waited months for my appointment to be cancelled the morning of my appointment to get my impacted wisdom teeth removed. Spoke to a lady in the office who was truly so rude and unprofessional. Telling me they no longer took my secondary insurance, ultimately cancelling my appointment the day of. When asked what the copay would be for my primary insurance, and recieved no response… she told me I wouldn’t be able to come in today for my appointment. I am completely unsatisfied with this establishment and would never recommend this place to anyone.

I am extremely fearful of dentist. I'm NOT even kidding. I have to take pills just to calm me enough to get into the car to go there and walk into the office. I'm so bad my sister makes herself go so I won't turn and run like I have so many times. Casey Dental is not like others. My dentist was so in tune with my paranoia that she actually made me feel at ease. Not saying that Xanax didn't help but I would refer anyone to this practice. I travel 1.5 hours to come here. Well worth my sanity.

Have brought my kids to a Scranton office many years ago and had a terrible experience… My 4 children have been coming here since that situation and I love it! The drive stinks but it’s worth knowing my kids are under great care!

We loved it here until they told me my 5 year old had cavities. They don't allow parents to accompany kids over 3, which was uncomfortable at first but my daughter agreed to it and she came back happy.
After our last visit they told me she had cavities and explained how they fix them, which includes nitrous oxide. I asked if they would allow a parent to accompany her during the procedure and was told no. After a few more questions, I left feeling like I was the crazy one. After speaking with other parents and providers, I was assured that I'm not the crazy one. I called and asked if they would reconsider a parent being present. Once again, I was told no. I'm not thrilled about having to find dental care elsewhere since my daughter was so happy here but, Covid or not, drugging a kid without a parent present is absurd.

I can not say enough positive feedback about our experience at Casey Dental. From the staff helping setup a new patient appointment with the appropriate Dr, which happened to be Dr Holena, who was the most perfect fit for my daughter, to the staff taking X-rays, and helping with the exam. Everyone was truly so kind and patient with my daughter, easing her fear and anxiety, making her feel safe. The atmosphere was extremely clean, safe and private with individual rooms. I'm so, so happy we found a perfect fit for my daughter's needs where she feels safe and keeps saying "the staff was phenomenal, you can tell the really love their job mom!" Thank you, Casey Dental!!

Tried to get my special needs daughter in and switch to have work done that is needed. She is special needs and doesn’t cooperate with a regular family dentist. They declined seeing her because I was able to physically carry her into another dental office. Why have a special needs dept if you don’t take on the patients that need them

It took them over a year to schedule my daughter's procedure. When we get there her original dentist was no longer there and the anesthesiologist was a weirdo I would never let that man put my child to sleep. He didn't even look at myself or her father. He didn't introduce himself and didn't make eye contact with us once. I would never recommend this place.

Amazing experience! I was able to get in same day, and had a minimal wait time. The dentist and entire staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. I finally found a dentist I love. If your looking then look no further than Casey Dental.

I cannot say enough nice things about Casey Dental. They have always been very flexible with me when setting up appointments and also are always there to answer any questions I may have whether its in person, via phone, or via email. Also, I love that they have a wide variety of hours which is beneficial for me with my work schedule. If I can say one thing sometimes the wait is a little long, but no longer than I have waited at other dentists' offices in the past.

Due to an updated policy that was sent out VIA TEXT my daughter was unable to be seen for her apt because the form wasn’t signed prior to her arrival. No big deal I offered to have the form faxed to my office so I could sign it and send it back...My wife was with her at the apt however they wouldn’t let her sign said form for some ridiculous reason. So after receiving the faxed form from Casey Dental at my office I promptly filled it out signed it and faxed it back...however they didn’t get it within a 10 minute window so her appointment was cancelled with no consideration or second thought from the office staff. We will be leaving Casey dental after years because of this experience and taking our children elsewhere.
