Colleen was mad chill and she wasn't too ruff with me

The dentist was very thorough and exstremely kind. Explained everything before and during. When I had pain or became nervous he was comforting with his words and gave me breaks. I didn't feel like he was rushing. I was treated as a patient, a person, rather then cattle as many Drs do. So, I very much appreciated him. Only down fall was the one receptionist was rude. I highly recommend Dr. Kaushal Desai!

At my consultation I was told that I had 5 cavities that needed to be filled and that we could do them all at the same time. They also wanted me to do 3 crowns and 1 root canal which would then need a crown. The crowns and root canal would not be covered at all and all in all would be $4,000-$5,000. I was up front that I'm recently disabled and trying to get ssdi, I am on medicaid, and I've been denied by care credit. The dentist's suggestion was to get a family member to sign for care credit for me... then after I asked about a partial denture it came out that a partial would be covered...
On my 2nd visit I notice a giant sign at the front desk that states that patients are required to know what is covered and what is not and that the office is not responsible... I've never had a dentist that didn't let me know what was covered and what wasn't. Then they tell me they are doing 4 teeth on the left side of my mouth on that visit and that there are 3 on my.right side that need fillings... so we went from 5 teeth to 7 and from 1 visit to 2... I got the 4 teeth filled. The dentist was very rushed and gave me no compassion or warning before jabbing that giant needle into my mouth to numb me knowing that I am in pain constantly from autoimmune issues.
Then the fillings.. two assistants took over and they were rushed too. They spoke a different language over my head the entire time which made me uncomfortable, rushed through the fillings (4 fillings in under 45 mins), did not do a good job making sure they felt good and left super sharp edges. Their response when I was trying to say it didn't feel right was that if anything was wrong they would fix it next time... The dentist also tried again to get me to do the crowns and root canal like we didn't talk about a partial last time... My tongue is super sore from brushing against the sharp edges and I'm 2 days out from my appointment. My jaw clicks on the left side now and it's sore too. I can't chew and it's affecting my speech. Very unhappy. I'm changing dentists.

I have to say that I am shocked at the reviews that I have seen on here as it is totally contrary to my experience at the quakertown office. I am usually a patient in harleysville. I wanted to see Dr. Ghanta who was in quakertown the day I needed help. I called, they got me in within an hour and not only did they see me, but squeezed me in to have the work I needed that day. I had a broken tooth and a big meeting the next day. Dr. Ghanta did a great job, took her time and was very conscious of the fact that I was nervous about getting work done. Everyone was pleasant, accommodating and very helpful. I wonder if there was a staff change, or a change in management philosophy that has made a positive impact. Im not sure of this, but I can attest to an all around great experience. Thank you again for your help!

I'm so angry I could scream! Dr Hangs fillings kept on falling out. When I went back to have it fixed he said I need not one but 2 root canals. I was confused and said just refill it for now. I got a second opinion I dont need any root canals but many fillings are cracked and need to be replaced as they were not done correctly and my bite is not in alignment. He seems uninterested and in a rush. Dont go to any dentist that takes medicaid!! And do not go to any A plus dental facilities!! And Dr Hang find a new career cause you suck at this one!!!

I wouldn't recommend at all. I took my daughters to their pediatric dentist and what a horrible job they did. I'm at a new place and through the x-rays the new dentist took you can see where they didn't complete the filling, as well as an incomplete extraction. The x-ray shows there's still a big piece of her tooth still in her gum. That's just ridiculous especially when they want you to pay up front and the work isn't complete.

I got my cavities filled here. First off, they weren't even going to put novacaine in, they started to drill and said "tell me if this hurts" which I instantly said yes. When they were drilling I would shake in pain and they wouldn't stop, I never had a problem where it hurt during a drilling. Another problem I never had before was the intense headache and toothache afterwards. It's been about a month afterwards and I can't even eat chips or anything slightly hard, or drink anything cold on my one side of my mouth without it hurting. They don't talk to you, they don't make you feel warm and welcome, they do it too quickly and don't take care of it correctly. I never had dental issues like this from a simple filling. Had an appointment but cancelled because I don't want to have more problems.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Staff is horrible and I mean horrible. They take forever in answering calls. They send out for approvals and it's your responsibility to follow up not theirs. You make an appointment time and still wait over half hr or more some times. The front desk talks with attitude and will talk down to you. Save your time and go elsewhere
