I finally found an excellent dentist! Dr. Shull is the best. Tandy is also the best hygienist I have ever had. I have been a patient at this location for too many years to count and, must say, that the workers at the front desk are also the best. In other words, Palmetto Dental Associates outshines any dental practice I have ever used. I trust them completely, and my fear of going to the dentist is no longer!

The whole appointment was a pleasant experience from the moment I walked into the door. The facilities, the staff, Dr. Shull...All were warm, welcoming and very committed to making me feel comfortable and to helping me to understand every step of the appointment experience. I highly recommend this group for all your dental care needs!

My dentist of 17+ years recently retired and recommended the PDA practice. I found the staff, from front desk, to assistants and Dr. Thomas to be pleasant, professional and welcoming. My comprehensive exam, as a new patient, was very informative and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Dr Thomas is very thorough and detailed but explains it in ways non dental people understand. Staff is very friendly and personable and explain out procedure and future steps in a detailed and respective manner.

After relocating to the Columbia area, I struggled to find a dentist that I was excited about. I decided to try Palmetto Dental Associates in Lexington after a coworker praised their high quality service and facilities...am I am so glad I did. The admin staff was incredibly helpful and informative on the phone and in person at the office. The staff and Dr. Cain were welcoming, personable, and knowledgeable throughout the appointment. I appreciated the time the team took to understand my dental history, needs and concerns. I left the appointment confident that I had picked the best practice in the area. I look forward to my next visit as I know I will continue to receive impeccable care and service from the Palmetto Dental Associates Lexington team.

This was my first visit to PDA after moving from Wisconsin and after the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. My last visit was over two years ago. Our primary care doctor had recommended Dr. Shull. When I called the office I found the staff to be friendly and informative providing me with a good idea how the first visit would go. After a brief discussion with my wife I called the office back the same day. The day of my appointment went smoothly, the entire office staff and dental team were friendly and professional. My wife joined us for the exam review. The initial exam included x-rays and photographing my teeth. The x-rays indicated two cavities. I was impressed with the photos (never had that done before) that displayed wear and thinning of the biting edge. After the exam I received a three step dental plan that addressed all the problem areas. The plan was straight forward and ease to understand. Dr Shull answered questions that we both had. I arranged for my next appointment. My wife liked Dr Shull and staff and made an appointment for her first exam.

I can't say anything but GOOD things. I became a patient almost 2 years ago and have always been given great dental care with thorough explanations along the way. Also, to my surprise I discovered they did teeth straightening with clear aligners so I had that done with great results.

My boyfriend had his first patient appointment today with PDA in lexington and we/he had the best experience all the way from setting up the app to seeing Dr. Thomas. For someone that is terrified of the dentist and doesn't like to go to say that, says alot! The staff there is great. I personal enjoyed meeting and speaking with everyone there! They had a beautiful clean office and everyone was so pleasant and a joy to interact with. On the way home he said that was the first time he's had xrays and not been hurt with the tools they put in your mouth for the pictures. So glad we were referred there! If you want a good dental experience id send you there.

I went here for my new patient exam this past week! I'm very pleased with the level of care that I received from Dr. Thomas and her assistant Katelyn! Dr. Thomas took her time with me and went into great detail explaining everything to me. I didn't feel rushed and it was nice having one on one time with the doctor. The ladies at the front desk are very sweet and welcoming. If you are looking for a new dentist in Lexington or the surrounding area this is the place and people for you!

After not having been to a dentist in 10+ years, going now was daunting. The staff at PDA were so calming and pleasant. Obviously I need alot of work done and it may be years until I am confident with a smile, but the staff , including Crystal, Tandy, Sherri and Dr. Shull, were honest, upfront, patient and caring as they walked through every step of my dental journey. PDA is outside of my insurance network and my journey is going to cost me, but Crystal provided guidance on how to make it a little less painful to the pocketbook! I highly recommend trying them out, you will be happy that you did!
