Double Charged Me! Took Months To Correct Problem! I was a first time patient. I scheduled an appointment for a regular cleaning/xray's about a month out. Shortly before I was due to come in, they notified me that they had to cancel the appointment because no one was available to give me a cleaning. The next available appointment was about a month out and I took it.

I arrived at the appointment a little early. After I got done with the xrays, they told me they did not have time to complete everything and that I should come back another day. So I did. (On my insurance I have a $25/copay for cleaning).

On my second appointment they completed everything. Then they billed me $50. I told them it should have only cost $25 and they told me "NO!, according to your insurance, the total will be $50". So I paid it.

I called my insurance and explained the situation and they told me I would have to contact Armed Forces Dental about getting a refund for the $25. I then made about 2-3 visits to A.F.D. about the refund. On my last visit I spent over an hour in the office and had to ask to speak to head dentist and have secretary contact my insurance company about the issue.

They then gave me a refund for the $25. After they gave me the refund, they began to send me letters in the mail saying I owe them $25. It was getting really annoying so I went back up there yesterday. After wasting more time at their office... the secretary said she has fixed the issue saying that "it was not your fault the appointments had to be split up".

Other things I noticed is that they took an excessively high amount of Xrays, many had to be retaken. I estimate somewhere around 20-30+, I wish I had counted. Also, the charges to my insurance company seemed VERY EXCESSIVE!!! If your dental plan has limits of yearly coverage (most do) you will want to pay attention to what Armed Forces Dental is charging your insurance company.

If I could, I would give this place ZERO STARS!

If this happens to you. I would suggest contacting BBB, State Attorney General, & Insurance Company to report Armed Forces Dental Center.

Great! They always treat me so nice and make sure I understand everything. I have always been a little scared of going to the dentist in the past but I feel comfortable here and look forward to coming!

Lacy is the best hygienist I've ever had. Compassionate and very knowledgeable about her craft. Front office staff like Annie are amazing

I had to have a wisdom tooth extracted and I’m a big chicken. My appointment was at 9:00, I arrived around 8:50, I was back on the road by 9:30. Much better experience than I had expected. Would highly recommend this facility.

Staff was welcoming as soon as I came in the door. They showed concern for my pain and problem. Dr Tran... wow what an amazing dentist. He showed me a plan and listened to my concerns. Took care of my issues and I have found my dentist.

Took me in on very short notice for an extraction due to a broken tooth. Took care of my problem quickly. However, was the roughest Dentist I have ever been too. This guy was pushing my body(160lbs.) up the chair applying so much pressure to my upper jaw. I thought at one point his tool was going to be driven into my skull. On top of this, the guy left either a huge chunk of tooth or a huge chunk of bone from my jaw just under my gum. This will eventually cause an infection. They gave me Amoxicillin, but this will not stop a future infection caused by the bone or tooth fragment left under my gum. I have a huge bump on the side of my gum where my tooth used to be. I've made an appointment with my Doctor to have whatever was left under my gum removed. Will not be going back to this place and will not recommend this place to anyone. Two stars for seeing me on short notice. Otherwise it would be 1 star for the rough treatment and whatever is under my gum....

I am terrified of the dentist but they gave me the best experience I’ve ever had. I recommend them if I could give 10 stars I would. The dentist and dental assistants are all AWESOME.

My experience was great! They took the anxiety out of my day.
I do believe I'm going to have great satisfaction with them.

Being new to the area, I wasn't sure what to expect. Well, it was one of the best dental experience I've had. Everyone is very nice. Cleaning was a breeze.

The staff is attentive and courteous. They do have nitrous oxide as an option for the people who get anxious going to the Dentist. Every member of their team has been kind and excels at customer service.
