Do not go to this place, the only reason I went here was because it was in my insurance and I could get in quick. I just wanted a cleaning. After the X-rays ,The lady telling me how pretty my teeth were as she did the x-rays, the dentist coming in and looking at my teeth and saying they looked good maybe a few areas here and there where I need to floss better. Then the hygienist came in Tried to sell me a dental cleaning plan and send me home with a cleaning kit and saying they could just not do a basic cleaning because of a few small pockets above 4 And if he did a regular cleaning then it would be illegal and the cleaning he was trying to sell me after insurance it would be $339. I’m just going to go back to my regular dentist who is not in there plan. I use to just pay out of pocket for my cleaning and visit and it was a lot cheaper than $339, without insurance they told me it was around $900. Needless I left there with no teeth cleaning -it was the most weirdest experience I’ve ever had at the dentist.

This place is not great. The way they do their appointments is annoying. You see the actual dentist every other time? I've gone three times and I've had the same hygienist and he definitely tries to sell me stuff I don't need. And then tries to make me feel guilty or scared if I decide not to do it. Just not professional. I wouldn't recommend this place.

I made an appointment around a month in advance, I had to change my first appointment, then they had to reschedule due to storms, I though no big deal. I got a phone call around 530 on the day of the appointment telling me I had no showed, I explained to them that my appointment was for 6:15 and they must have a mistake, the lady said that was fine and to come on in. So I get there and there is two other people waiting when I sit down. I start talking to one lady asking what she though of there work and she said she only had one issue but they remade her teeth so it was fine (scary). She said her appointment was for 7:00 but they called and told her to come in early, so I was very suprised when they took her back before me especially since it was 630 at this point and no one had acknowledged me. So I asked the lady at the front desk and she told me that the lady should have never told me what time her appointment was and that they would get to me when they got to me. I was a little taken back by her attitude. So I sat and waited for another 20 minutes before a girl came and got me for xrays, she asked me why I was there, I said " for a cleaning" and she said "we dont have a hygenist today so you will not be getting a cleaning". So at this point I have been there for 50 minutes just to find out that they wouldnt be able to even preform the proceedure I had an appointment for. After what felt like a million xrays she put me in another room and I sat there for another 20 minutes. At this point I was over it, so I told them that I had to leave and that I felt like there service was horrible. The lady said that it was standard for the first appointment to take over an hour and that they dont generally clean on the first appointment, its more like a consultation. I have never in my life experienced such bs at a dentist office, FOR A CLEANING. Its not plastic surgery! I told them I would not be returning and not to charge my insurance, no one tried to even stop or fix the problem, they just said ok. I was shocked at the whole thing. I had read the reviews prior to going and should have listened. I highly reccommend taking them in to account before you make an appointment.

Always friendly. The Doctor actually listened to my concerns instead of just dismissing them. To have a dentist actually talk TO me instead of AT me is a refreshing thing. And the ladies at the front desk are helpful with any questions regarding insurance and the like.

The cleaning was amazing. She was very professional and did an excellent job. The billing is confusing however. They did not give me anything but a small receipt like you would get at a gas station.

Very sweet and knowledgeable about there products, and very helpful in picking out the right denture for me. Even let me bring in a picture of how I looked with my real teeth so they could try to make them look as real as possible! I can't wait to go back for my wax try in and then to pick them up. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

My daughter is 6 and she recently had her first dental appointment at Apsen Dental. The office is clean and the staff is very friendly and professional. She enjoyed her visit and so did I.

I would not under any circumstance recommend Aspen Dental. I had a toothache, called to schedule an appointment I scheduled an appointment with Aspen due to the fact that my dental insurance had changed with my employer. I point blank told when I called that I had a tooth hurting that was part of a bridge. Before the X-ray technician starts, she asks me if I am there for dentures. I said no, I have a tooth that’s hurting, but it’s part of a bridge. We have known the bridge needed to be replaced, but now the tooth is hurting and my regular dentist isn’t on my new insurance. She continued to take full xrays of my entire mouth. Next I go to see the dentist, Dr. Jacob Shay. He asks me what’s going on and I tell him my tooth under bridge is bothering me and it started last night. He tells me he needs to look at my xrays. He looks at the xrays and proceeds to tell me all the root canals that I’m going to need where I now have fillings. He then says I’ll need to see an endontist. He tells me that I will have to talk to the financial person before they can do anything. He told me that the tooth with the bridge would have to be broken from bridge first and then pulled. But I would need a new crown on the other tooth. He keeps telling me he doesn’t want to scare me with everything due to price. Then he tells me that the hygienist is going to come talk to me regarding hygiene. Next , in comes Derek, the hygienist. He begins to talk about periodontal and gum disease. He goes on and on, shows me how much bone loss I have. Then proceeds to tell me I need 4 cleanings a year instead of 2. He also indicates that he would be mad if his hygienist didn’t tell about all of this. I’m sitting in that chair thinking I came for 1 tooth today, that’s all. Derek continues and his tone is as if I have had zero dental care for years. He has a form for me to sign, then says for me to read the 2nd form closely because it involves money. He continues to talk while I’m trying to read this form, he claims that I have very deep pockets from gum receding and that I have periodontal infection. It was at that point I told him, I’ve used the same dentist for 30 years. His response “boy, I wish I could tell you all the times I’ve heard that”. It was at that point I verbally exploded and repeated again, I came here to look at 1 tooth because my insurance changed. I’ve been an RN for 40 years and it’s extremely unprofessional to say anything derogatory regarding other healthcare professionals the way you have. I work with surgeons and all sorts of specialists and never have I ever heard a derogatory comment come out regarding any of the others and it’s extremely unprofessional. I got my purse and went to the front desk asking where to check out and if I owed any money. I told I came in for 1 tooth, 1 tooth, nothing else. All I received was a totally wasting my time with a place this unprofessional. The clerk looked at me and said they would take care of that tooth for me. I declined and said I’ll pay out of my own pocket before I would allow anyone in that office touch me. Of note, I went to see the dentist today that I have been a patient for, for over 30 years that I respect and trust. I shared the fiasco from yesterday with him. And for the record, I called the place out by name. Do I have some bone loss, yes, I’m 61 years old and female. It’s part of the aging process and is worse with women. I would not take a dog into Aspen Dental. They recommend medically unnecessary extensive treatment, took mountains of xrays even after I told them I was there for 1 tooth and did absolutely NOTHING FOR THE REASON I SCHEDULED THE APPOINTMENT TO BEGIN WITH. My assumption is it was to Bill my insurance a massive amount that was needlessly done! .

The staff is so friendly. The dentist was very thorough and patient. I would highly recommend them!
