Dr. Masso is the most dedicated, professional, thorough, skilled dentist I’ve ever known. His credentials are impressive, his equipment is state of the art, and his attention to detail is unsurpassed. I am seventy-years-old, and my teeth and overall health have never been better. Dr. Masso significantly supports my complete health, and I am grateful to have found him.

The appointment didn't start until an hour after the scheduled time because the insurance card I had sent over, and had a response to, was not actually added.
During the appointment, I said which teeth I wanted to have work done on and Dr Masso started also doing work on another tooth without my permission. This puts additional financial stress into my life that I was not expecting.
I also was not consulted about the color of the teeth and they look a little darker than I expected.
The teeth look good but my bite is now off. I will need to go in again to have it adjusted.
Overall, he seems to do good work but does not respect, or even be aware of, the boundaries of people.

Not only do they have the latest in technology to diagnose what other practices may miss, they are passionate about your dental health and restoring a beautiful smile.
It is unique and refreshing to meet a professional at the top of his game who takes the time to fully explain all options with no sales pressure!
I love their holistic approach and feel much more educated on my options and what is best for my overall health, too.
I love that he can place an implant the same appointment as extraction and also uses your own blood to create platelets so no chance of implant rejection and less healing time, appointments, ect.
He meticulously crafts crowns in office and they are truly a work of art. My implants look better and are more functional than my original teeth!
I am on my 3rd implant and while I can't say I enjoy the process, I actually look forward to my appointments whereas I used to experience extreme anxiety even for simple cleanings. They just have a way of putting you at ease even when the procedure seems daunting. He is very conscientious of your pain level and adjusts medication accordingly throughout the procedure. That alone is a big stress relief! Ana is also a very reassuring assistant and they work so well together.
Dr. John Masso and his lovely wife, Ana are very genuine, caring people who go above and beyond in treating their patients. I will always be grateful for the care and concern they have shown me and of course, the beautiful teeth :)
They are a shining example of the American dream whose business is built on integrity and desire to help people. I was blessed to have been referred to them and would not even consider going anywhere else!

Dr. Masso is truly an amazing dentist! He is accommodating in many ways, and when speaking to you - he educates you to the greatest of his abilities so that you can understand the what and why. I’ve been to him a few times, but recently had a cleaning & wisdom tooth removed by him. I was terrified for the extraction but Dr. Masso & his wife treated me amazing, and did the procedure quick & painless while also keeping my husband and I informed the entire time & for the after care! I truly appreciate their work & methods! I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area because not only are they dental geniuses, highly educated and truly care about their patients but they are also quite hilarious! :)

If you are looking for a good, caring, AMAZING dentist, PLEASE GO SEE Dr. Masso! He is the best dentist here in Nashville! He is literally the only dentist that I trust to do anything on my mouth. I needed work done and I was actually going to Mexico to save money and get cheap work done (I know, Shame on me) but my mother told me I should go see someone that has worked on me since I was a little girl, and that will be honest about what’s best for me instead of just taking my money and slapping anything in my mouth like Mexico doctors would have. I called him and as soon as I heard his plan and what he was going to do to get me back smiling, I immediately canceled that trip and went to him the exact same evening. He and is wife Anna stayed opened later for me to get to them and did the work I needed done in the same day! You get what you pay for. No, it isn’t Mexico prices, but neither is it cheap Mexico work and materials! He does GREAT quality work! felt so comfortable in their care, I started to doze off in the middle of the procedure because I trust them so much! Lol I feel like family when I go to them. I never have to second guess him. He knows his stuff when it comes to dentistry. I will be sending all of my friends and I will be bringing my son to him from now on. All of his work is BEAUTIFUL! Dr. Masso and Anna ways make sure you’re happy with it before you walk out of their doors. He’s done 2 major surgery’s on me, and this last one was implants. Im now on a liquid diet that I hate lol but he has sent me a list of things that will be good for me to eat. He’s made this entire situation a breeze! Anna even called me this morning to check on me after my surgery last night! Most dentist could care less how you’re feeling the day after lol I love them so much! I’m so glad I chose them for my care. I will never go to another dentist. Dr. Masso and Anna will forever be my choice.

Best dentist there is and the most thorough. He takes his time to do all that needs to be done and cares about his patients on the process. He is far ahead of any other dentist I know and I wouldn’t go elsewhere.

Dr. Masso is a real life angel!!! I absolutely adore him and his wife Ana! I have never had a dentist fully explain his process/procedures and made me feel at ease. I suffer from anxiety issues, the moment I get to their office they make me feel at ease. Dr. Masso is not a salesman in the least! He offers multiple options always and I’ve never felt pressured. And the man is an artist!!!! He took a photo of me from 1999 and gave me my smile back!!!! I don’t look like I have a mouth full of crowns. Dr. Masso is gentle as well. I have nothing but faith in him and believe every word he says. Truly, I feel like Dr. Masso not only brought my smile back, but made me feel like my old self. Oh! My favorite part! He sees 1 patient at a time, no waiting in the waiting room, no feeling neglected, no feeling rush, and the office is immaculately clean. It’s a very personalized experience. The office is in a great location. There is a park and several restaurants close by the office. Plus Belcourt theater. So, you can treat yourself after an appointment. More importantly, he has the technology in his office. He is able to take 3D xrays, he can make permanent crowns, bridges, implants, etc. in less than an hour with no gross impressions.

I've been using Dr. Masso as my dentist for the past 6 years. He is a dentist that will go the extra mile. Unlike my previous experiences with other dentists, Dr. Masso is with you through your entire visit, not much time with dental assistants. I believe doing this allows him to notice things other dentists would normally pass up. Not only is he a very thorough and skilled dentist, he's also very personable. I'd recommend him to anyone.

Had a wonderful experience with Dr. Masso! Due to my negligence, my perfect smile was badly damaged. Masso was able to clean it up and brought my smile back to life! Although there is still a lot of work to be done to bring it back to its full potential, in 3 hours, Masso brought tears of joy to my eyes as it had been so long since I'd seen my pearly whites.

Dr. Masso proved to me his passion for beautiful and healthy teeth. The ADA should be proud to have him in this profession! There should be more dentists out there like Masso, dedicated and passionate, keeping the concerns of his patients in mind! There is no price too high for beautiful, healthy smiles! Dr. Masso is an exceptional dentist who is truly concerned about his patients and very transparent in his dealings. He wishes the best for his patients and explains every possible treatment option with the pros and cons so that patient's consent and agreement is involved in each one of his steps. He has a wonderful sense of humor and tries his best to make the treatment as less stressful as it possibly can. He and his wife were always there when I was having a rough time during my semester. It was very hard to find experienced and genuine dentists like him who go out of their way to ensure patient satisfaction. He is very accommodating with followup meetings as well. I will definitely recommend him.
