I went here and had a black cavity that was hurting my nerve in my tooth extremely bad and then got told by both the nurse and Dan fisher that it was supposed to be black, I would not recommend this dentist and they got very rude when I told them it was still bothering me after they told me it was nothing. I had to look for a new dentist an I’m going to post the before and after pictures of the same very tooth.

We’ve been searching for a while to find a new dentist. The one we were using had just not been doing such a good job at cleaning. After cleaning you couldn’t tell they had even done anything. Checkup was so swift not sure if they were actually checking their teeth.
This (6/3/22) was our first visit so nerves were a little high. Not sure if the dentist would be aggressive. Not sure how the staff would be. We soon started to be at ease with the receptionist. So polite. Thank You.
The hygienist was very nice an even though she wore a mask. You could the smile in her eyes. Once I began telling her of our old experience. She was so apologetic. This coming from someone we never knew apologized for how our dental visits had been. From a different dentist of things.
Then the dentist appeared. Once through the checkup it was determined my daughter has actually got 3 cavities.
I’m thankful they found this an start to get this taken care of in July. Thank You Mountain Dentistry.

My family and I are going to this facility for last 9 years. Dr. Fisher and all support staff, especially, Wendy are very helpful and accommodative. We used their services such as general cleaning, fillings, and crowns. We are very happy. For last one and half year, we moved to Farragut. However, we are still visiting Dr. Fisher for all our dental Needs. I highly recommend this facility to everyone.

The friendliest people! Amazing at keeping you calm when you have a lot of anxiety. I drive over an hour just to go to them!! The staff is like a big family!!

I would not recommend this office. Although I feel Dr. Fisher is a good dentist, I've had multiple complications with the staff. Ranging from them verbally arguing with me about going back with my girlfriend to dropping my girlfriend as a patient after ONE missed appointment. My girlfriend was dropped as a patient with a temporary filling from a root canal. Trying to explain to the staff that she has an acute fear of dentists and that she really felt comfortable with Dr. Fisher resulted in more arguing from the staff. I was a patient with this office previously as well, although I did not see Dr. Fisher. I was seen by a Dr. who was more concerned about taking phone calls related to personal matters than with the dentistry, leaving a nurse to finish a filling. This resulted in an overbite which eventually broke.

TL;DR Dr. Fisher is a good dentist, the staff is horrid. I would not recommend this office simply based on the experiences I've had with the staff.

I have enjoyed my 5 years as a patient. The Doc is smart and nice. He and the staff have a sense of humor. Their prices are not what I prefer, but are acceptable. I am willing to make that sacrifice for a good and trustworthy dentist. Make sure you have Delta dental or ask more questions about what you will be expected to pay. Even with Delta Dental, it is not free. One year I had a high amount of work to be done, I did not believe it , so I got a 2nd opinion from another well regarded dentist (who did not know I normally see Doc Fisher ), and the other dentist gave the same diagnosis. If you look at the reviews, many of the complaints are about price. I agree that customers need to be aware of this, but my view is that this is a good value despite the higher price. I value my teeth.

Was referred here by a coworker. So glad I took his advice. The ENTIRE staff was prompt, professional as well as very polite. It was a great visit to the dentist for me and I ended up making appointments for all my wife and children. Also the cost was very reasonable.

This place is a joke. The front desk staff (Wendy) is rude and lacks people skills. It took her almost 4 months to bill our insurance company on dental work. I called and explained that their office owed me money back, she hung up on me after saying we will see. I finally got some of the money back but I was still cheated out of over 30 dollars but I am glad to be done with this place.
My husband had 7 teeth extracted and they sent him home and told him to take tylenol. My husband did not receive a follow up call to see if he was doing ok, which he was not. A trip to another dentist showed several pieces of tooth left in my husbands gums in different areas. I would not recommend this place to anyone that values their mouth and their wallet. This is a horrible place..

While the hygentist, Mrs. Candi Crawford, was extremely professional and a joy to work with. The office manager, Wendy Bird, was horrific. She became very aggressive with me when I did not want my 6 year old child walking to the back alone at her very first appointment at Mountain View Dental. I was informed that this procedure of not allowing me to walk my daughter to the back was due to Covid. However, I was allowed to walk her to the back and then proceeded to wait in the front area for my child's appointment to end. Once the appointment was through, I was told very kindly by Mrs. Candi Crawford that my child would need a filling and a few sealants in the months to follow. I made two separate appointments per Dr. Fisher's orders.

I was called not long after the appointment from Mrs. Wendy Bird informing me that Dr. Fisher was no longer able to provide care and needed to refer my child out due to my child's age (6) and the services that she was needing. I was baffled by the refusal of care after I had just made two appointments and ended the phone call with Mrs. Wendy Bird. After looking on Mountain View Dental website, I realized that not only do they advertise that children are welcome they also advertise that they can perform. Services for fillings and sealants that my child required. I called Mrs. Wendy Bird back to get clarification on the services that could not be handled at Mountain View Dental, and she proceeded to be very condescending. She informed me that Dr. Dan Fisher would not speak with me and she did not want to answer any more of my questions. I told Mrs. Wendy Bird that I would be calling my Medicaid office to report this provider and needed to know the specifics on why Dr. Fisher was refusing services for my child. Her reply was sarcasticly that this would be a great idea. Perhaps the reason for refusing care was my child's race? She then hung up on me.
