My husband’s first visit was because his tooth broke off. Was able to schedule and knew exactly what my dental insurance would pay and what our bill would be. Dentists and staff were very accommodating, professional and friendly. They were able to do a crown instead of a root canal. It saved us a lot of money. So glad we found them!

We recently relocated to the area and were so happy to find this office. Dr. Peterson and his staff are knowledgeable, friendly and patient. I had an intensive procedure a few months back, beyond the typical cleaning, and I appreciated how the Doctor was continuously checking in with me as to how I was feeling throughout. I would recommend this office to anyone needing dental care.

Everyone is super nice and friendly! I love the atmosphere with the classical music playing and nature videos playing while getting my dental work done. Dr. Peterson numbed me up super good for my fillings and I didn’t feel a thing. Almost fell asleep in the chair! Awesome place, and I strongly recommend coming here.

I absolutely love this dentist office! They have been so wonderful, kind, and accommodating to my needs! I had broken a tooth and saw a different dentist before them who told me it would be fixed in a couple of visits. When I saw Dr. Peterson, he fixed it that day. You couldn’t even tell it wasn’t my natural tooth! I literally could go on and on with my praises of this office! I used to kinda dread going to the dentist, but they’ve totally changed the way I feel since going to them! Best dentist ever ❤️

I had a very awful experience here. I'll preface by saying the front desk staff was very nice when making my appointment. I came here for a few fillings and a crown. The first session for the fillings and temporary crown was very rough. I had to ask the dentist multiple times for a lot of numbing and he behaved like it was inconvenient to give it to me. I believe he took it as an invitation to be as heavy handed as possible because when I left that appointment the side of my face was swollen and I was in pain for a few days afterwards. I called the office to ask them what to do about this, they claimed this was normal and told me to rinse with salt and take pain killers. This has never happened to me at my last dentist who performed 7 fillings and what was essentially a root canal on me with little to no pain during or after the procedure. To give a point of comparison, this current dentist needed to fill about 3 fillings and give me a single crown. The dental assistant also poured water down my throat during this appointment causing me to gag. I had to sit up and swallow the water and when I did that she claimed the cotton in my mouth was causing my discomfort, not the water.

My second appointment was for my permanent crown. I will admit that I asked for no numbing during this appointment because I had to work right after. My job involves speaking and I could not afford to lose the use of half my face. I suppose it went as well as it could have given that. I mostly interacted with the dental assistants, Traci and Shelly and one other whose name tag I could not see. The installation of the crown was easily the most painful part of the procedure. The DDS didn't even think to offer me numbing before that part. The rest of the procedure where they were actually fitting the crown was mildly painful but tolerable. The actual installation cement and all was agonizing. You'd think a dental professional would know how painful it is. Just a small bit of numbing would have been nice and possibly would have prevented me from writing this review.

Traci, Shelly, and one other assistant then proceeded to attempt removing the cement which was another uncomfortable drawn out process. It seemed Traci and Shelley cared a lot more about my comfort than the DDS. Traci at least took her time and tried to use methods that would make me more comfortable without the numbing instead of doing what was fastests and most convenient. I eventually accepted a little bit of numbing which made the process easier. The numbing wore off in about 30 minutes.

Overall a horrid experience. I will never go back to this dentist. The front desk receptionist even suggested I get my wisdom teeth removed here and I will absolutely not be doing that. The DDS already makes me uncomfortable enough while I am conscious. I would rather drive an hour and a half to see my old dentist than return here. All I can say is that my crown was installed fine and the words "Gentle Dentistry" are good marketing for getting people in the door.
