My experience with Aspen dental was just the way everyone hopes their dental visit will go. The staff is kind, courteous and work to make you comfortable. The atmosphere is inviting, clean and each dental chair even has its own personal tv to help you relax while you sit. The Dental Hygienist, Erica Buchannon, was gentle and professional with me and on my husband, who gets anxiety from the word “Dentist.”
Dr Wilson was very knowledgeable and pleasant. I recommend Aspen.

They were very friendly and professional at my 2 visits in August and I was very happy with the cleaning they performed and their general diagnosis of what sort of dental work that I needed, but they are way overpriced. I had initially just gone in because a piece of a tooth broke off and it was hurting, so I was just hoping to get it filled or patched up since I had just returned to work after struggling with some health issues for several years. I knew that I needed to have some other dental work such as crowns and implants or bridges, but I was going to began the dental work slowly as I could afford it over the next three six months or so starting from that first initial visit and proceed from there. I had really good insurance from a really good job, but unfortunately I lost my job shortly after my initial visit. As stated earlier, I know my teeth needed some work, but I did not think they were in terrible shape, but they indicated that my teeth were all jacked up. All the dental work was going to cost over $16,000, of which my insurance was going to pay all but about $5,000 or $6,000, so they suggested that I apply for Genesis to assist me in financing said dental work to make it more affordable. Well, I was approved for $3,000 worth of assistance, which they precharged where I'd have to pay $225 a month starting I. September. Well, I was fine with that until I lost my job. I went ahead and had the cleaning, but I couldn't proceed with the remainder of my suggested dental plan. My insurance was supposed to cover 100% of both visits because I only had a checkup and a cleaning and since I couldn't proceed with the dental work, I should have owed nothing to Genesis. Aspen only credited a little over $1300 back to my Genesis account and somehow even though I had no additional work or visits other than the 2 that was covered 100% by my dental insurance I still owe Genesis over $1600 plus interest for dental work that I was unable to complete. So, it seems that they are attempting to charge both my dental insurance for full payment and me for that as well. I googled the average price for a dental assessment, X-rays, and a cleaning and it should not have been more than an average price of between $200 and $500, so it shouldn't be anywhere near $1600, plus my dental insurance is supposed to cover 100% of those initial visits anyway. So I'm stuck paying the $1600 that Genesis still claims I owe at $225 a month without a job. That can't be legal. Anyway, all of that and I still did not get my original problem of a broken tooth repaired because they said I needed a crown and I was only going to have my insurance until the end of August. They were supposed to call my insurance company and then call me back and see if they could possibly get it done before the end of the month so I could save that tooth, as I'm missing some molars anyway and did not wish to lose anymore. I'm guessing that when they found out that my dental insurance couldn't be charged until the crown came in and set it, they didn't wish to make it work. I had to call them back on my own to find that information out on my own. When you don't have money, you're not important and no one cares, especially with our wonderful greed based society. Plus individuals as well as companies and businesses we should be able to trust attemp to rip us off and deal deceitfully with us. It's a crying shame. This truly is Satan's world!

What began as a good experience became a complete disaster when it came time to perform the procedure that was agreed upon at the time of my initial consultation
After losing 2 appointment times, the day for my procedure (crowning 6 front teeth) arrived. The dentist, who wasn't the same dentist that suggested my course of treatment, informed me that crowning my teeth wouldn't be possible without additional dental work from an outside periodontist. Not only would this incur additional costs but also cause a delay in my ability to eat effectively. It is very concerning for me that if dentists from the same office can't agree on a treatment plan, how good will the actual dental work be. Also I paid $2300 for cleaning my teeth with the understanding that it was part of my procedure to crown my teeth . I absolutely will not recommend Aspen to anyone needing dental services.

I had a horrible toothache and also have bad teeth and dentures are in my future. That's what started my visit to Apen Dental in Brownwood Tx. I arrived about 10min before my appointment. My wait was minimal. The sweet lady that took me back to get my xrays was amazing. Explained everything in detail she was doing. My exam was very thorough. When Dr. Chava came in she was super nice and explained what issues I had and how we could go about fixing them and alleviating any further pain I was having. I felt very comfortable with my experience. When I reached the front desk, Riki called me to her desk and explained the estimates and other options and went steps further to help since I currently do not have dental insurance. I will be returning in the coming weeks ahead to complete my process of getting dentures. Thank you so much to the entire Brownwood Aspen team.

I searched my insurance website and found that Aspen dental accepted it. All my teeth need to be extracted some are broken off, some are ground down and I'm constantly in pain and can no longer eat without pain. I just have to pick a side that I want to chew with and suffer the consequences afterwards. I have been on antibiotics off and on for the last 3 years for the infection they cause. I can no longer brush my teeth because the pain is not worth it so I use mouth wash and do the best I can. This is no longer a cosmetic problem but a medical problem and I tried to talk to the dentist about the subject but he acted like a computer or a robot on what he was programed to say . He said the oral surgeon could put me under and remove all of them at once. I thought he would at least tell my insurance how bad my mouth is. The cost for a full mouth extraction is 10000.00 dollars. I just had back surgery last month and my insurance covered the whole thing. It just felt like there was no human compassion or anyone wanting to do any extra to help a person in need. I guess I will have to talk to my medical insurance provider about how serious this truly is since it's going to involve an oral surgeon. I'm disabled and have UnitedHealth care Medicare and 53 years old.

I made an appointment online for a Monday, and when we got to the office, thirty miles away, they had no appointment on their books. Computers are not reliable and I understood it was no fault of the employees. I rescheduled the appointment for two days later, on Wednesday, and when they called on Tuesday to confirm, I was at work and couldn't answer the phone, and because of this, they moved her appointment out. When we got there Wednesday they explained she had no appointment and why and at that point, I was begining to get upset. I told the lady what had happened and this would be another wasted trip and day my daughter missed of school. I also had the email confirmation of the appointment I was told we didn't have on Monday. She put me on hold and spoke to someone and then told me they could see us but it would be a 30 minute wait. Our appointment was at 8:00 am and we walked out of the office at 10:30 am. Now despite all of this, every single person from office personnel to dentist in this office was so friendly. Once we got past all the appointment confusion, it went perfect. Do not make your judgement on the appointment errors because I am sure it's not a frequent issue. Just do make sure to verbally confirm you will be at your appointment. Over all I couldn't be happier, and I am taking my other two kids back to the same office in a few days.

My granddaughter referred me to Aspen Dental , where she is a regional manager in Florida. I haven’t been to a dentist due to bad family experience and was very nervous!! To say the least!! But the whole staff was very professional and friendly, from front desk to Dr Rice, who put me at ease. X-rays showed I had a sinus infection and needed some dental work. Made an appt for Saturday for consultation!! I really enjoyed Dr Rice and his outlook on my well being. Thank you for a great experience.

I had an upper arch made and installed last month, no problem. Except when it broke and the local office doesn’t have a dentist nor dental tech for two days and then there is the weekend.

I cannot get it repaired until Monday. Frustrating and it should not be to get a warranty item repaired. Not the local folks fault, however, perhaps the corporate office should hire a full time dentist and dental tech.
