We initially went to Legacy Dental of East Dallas when my son woke up with major tooth pain. We called and Legacy was able to take him in quickly and diagnose the problem. The entire staff was professional and warm, and helped relax him immediately. Since the initial visit, we have been back for an extraction and a few fillings and every time the treatments were explained well and executed smoothly.
I would not hesitate to recommend Legacy of East Dallas for any dental procedure. They have been fantastic! Thanks so much!!

My family has been going to this location for the past 6 years. Never had any issues with staff until I called today to schedule an appointment. The office manager, Wendy, was very rude and abrupt with me. She continued to interrupt me and didn't allow me to tell her my availability for an appointment, she only kept telling me what wasn't available. We will not be returning to this office. If it's that difficult for the manager to listen and have common courtesy and respect, we definitely will find a more professional dental office.

The wait time is ridiculous. Had appointment at 9am & didn't leave until after 11am...for a regular check up being the only patient there!! Will not be going back taking my business elsewhere where I am treated as an important patient

I just moved here to Dallas and I brought both of my boys (ages 2 and 5 years old) here. The front desk staff was very helpful and kind. They even called my insurance and helped me change my boys doctor. Dr. Jorge was very knowledgeable, patient and answered all my questions. He took his time and didn't rush our appointment. His assistant was kind and made me feel comfortable more importantly she made my sons feel comfortable. I am very picky about where I take my kids for any type of medical care and I ALWAYS do my research and go off my gut feeling. I would recommend Legacy Dentist on Gaston Ave. for your kids and yourself! I will be making an appointment for myself soon. That's another thing I like, the convenience of having the same dentist as my kids we can just get it all done at the same time. Also, my boys enjoyed their free game/media room that is next to the waiting area.

I saw Dr Heffelfinger for (2) dental implants. At that time Legacy Dental was running a special - implant, abutment and crown for $2000. I payed for my treatment and began. I was assured great odds -- Dr Heffelfinger even touted his spotless record -- he'd never had an implant fail. I had nothing to lose and each implant was backed with a money back guarantee. After the first implant failed I was disheartened but trusted we could make the second implant a success. I asked for my money back but instead was told that it would be applied to other cost from the successful implant. I was sent home to wait for my new crown to arrive. I phoned countless times asking if my crown was in. To my astonishment the 3 week turn around took more than 7 months. Eventually after heated exchange my crown arrived -- it arrived but it was molded wrong and didn't fit. At this point I decided to seek another opinion. I was informed by my new dentist that the implant that took had been seated above the bone line and therefor would need to be removed. In the meantime my teeth have shifted I now need even more work to combat my top teeth falling because of the extended amount of time that has passed without the implants to keep them where they belong. To top this all off they refuse to refund me. Trust me you want to take your business elsewhere.
