I set an appointment as a new patient for a dental cleaning a couple of weeks ago. I realize people often do not show up for appointments, but I received more than one call a day as a reminder to come in about two days before, which is excessive, especially since I confirmed I would be there for the appointment each time.
This is not the main concern. I provided my dental insurance when I called to set the appointment, and they took the information down and said it would be covered. It was not until I arrived for the appointment that they informed me that my insurance would not be taken. I set aside my day for the visit and was not informed of this insurance issue beforehand. This is incredibly unprofessional. The office is disorganized since they do not know if you have been provided reminders for appointments and will not necessarily check your insurance before you arrive. I would look elsewhere.

Dr. Hansen is the most gentle dentist that I have ever visited. His staff is also the most professional. The girls always have smiles on their faces. The dental technician "Mario" made my smile look like I looked at age 20. I am very satisfied with the experience

Went in for a Wisdom tooth extraction , I was nervous, the staff and Dr were very nice, why I'm posting is that it was the easiest tooth extraction I've ever had! I didn't feel anything at all, not even pressure. This Dr is the best one I've been to and plan to use him for my other dental needs.

I love the dentist at this location so please keep in mind it has nothing to do with his care, but the staff there is absolutely unprofessional, rude, and incompetent. I honestly think they are making fraudulent claims and causing people to pay outrageous prices out of pocket without actually contacting the insurance company beforehand. I have contacted my insurance company after attending my appointment and it was vastly different in price. The office staffed here is obviously doing some shady business and are not accurately contacting insurance companies before they indicate how much a patient needs to pay. Anyone on medicare, medicaid, or PPO please beware before attending or visiting this office! I had horrible service and I would never attend again. Please keep in mind I am visually impaired and not only were they rude around me as a patient but they are disrespectful to me as an individual with a disability.

If you are someone who looking through the reviews to see what dental office fit for you and your family, this is the place. I just had my visit today, everything went great. First, schedule an appointment, they will call you to make sure your insurance is really to go. When you show up, they will have you fill in a health history form, waited like a few minutes they will call you inside to do what need to be done. Unlike other offices, they make me waited for hours (with appointment) and I'm still in the waiting room. Any way, my dentist makes sure every treatment and filling he do to my teeth is perfect rather than rush to get to another patient. Overall, everyone in the office is super nice and friendly. I will come back!! I feel welcome here at Smile Zone of East Dallas.

I’ve been a customer for 10 years and love the way they treat me and my family. They get you right in. I have had fillings, extractions, whitening, etc.. The manager Jessica is awesome she know her stuff. She checks your insurance to make sure your covered. I recommend this dental office to everyone.
