Poor Customer Service Unprofessional Behavior Misleading Information

I try not to leave negative reviews but I digress. First, off my initial appointment I could not complete the patient intake forms because the site kept freezing. Eventually, I just gave up and said I will finish them in office. Upon my arrival the aloof front desk representative, STEVEN decides to sassily lecture me on why I should’ve completed the forms online in a catty and condescending tone. Bypassing my explanation of not being able to properly access the forms. I at the time did not have my WIFI set up just yet due to me just returning from military duty. Which is probably why my forms kept freezing. You would think a medical representative would be more accommodating in providing β€œluxury,” care as the website says. Then the front desk staff aka condescending STEVEN lied about submitting claims for two weeks. They told me after I called them for the third time that I needed to split my fillings up because the dentist only does one side at a time. This would split the cost automatically and no claim would've needed to be submitted. And might I add I mentioned splitting up the procedures of this to STEVEN after calling the insurance company and inquiring about my benefits. Although, the Dentist diagnosed me with filing on both sides two weeks ago at the initial appointment. This information was given snarkily two weeks later and on top of that they lied about submitting the claim that never needed to be submitted. The issue now was that I am off military leave and back at work the dental offices are only open during my work hours. I would have to leave two days from work for 30 minute surface fillings. All because the front desk lied for two weeks and should've been able to correct this mistake because I have contacted them three times in all about my fillings. I was told I could come in for a last minute appointment on the 23rd which was the same day. I have the recordings of the previous conversation that I will be submitting once my insurance contacts me about my complaint. No one has apologized or explained why they lied about submitting the claim after my initial appointment. I spoke to my insurance's claims department on the 23rd and they called the dental office. The representative informed me that they did not submit the claim after looking in the system and calling them herself. The dentist ended up doing the work all in the same day. Which wouldn't be an issue if the claim was submitted two weeks ago like I was told by STEVEN on the initial call. I was then reassured that Tricare takes a while to approve claims by the female at the front desk on the second call. Basically I was waiting on claims to be approved that was never even submitted. The front desk obviously never called to follow up with me about what happened with my insurance claim. I will be dealing with my insurance directly to rectify this issue going forward. IF YOU CANNOT BE COMPETENT AT LEAST BE KIND. It is really unfortunate because beyond the front desk the dental staff is Awesome. But after this experience I will be getting my dental implant elsewhere. Hopefully they find a front desk staff that provides the same caliber of care that the dentist and hygienist do. I encourage the Dentist and her associates to listen to the recordings of the prior conversations to check the validity of these statements because the proof is there.

Trustworthy Dentist Great Service Entertainment Options

I have a hard time finding a dentist I trust isnt over-recommending intervention and Im glad to have found Oak Cliff Dental as all staff was very transparent, kind and provided great service. also loved that there was netflix to watch while i got my teeth cleaned :)

Excellent Service Thorough Cleaning Long Term Care Options Diverse Staff

Attention and care are top notch. After pandemic put my dental care on hold for a while, staff was thorough in taking images and doing a cleaning. Appreciated Dr. Munawar checking in to discuss long term care options as well. Love the diversity of staff!

Great when I was a patient, but upon rescheduling to get work done, they couldn't find my patient record and the system kept having issues to book appointment times. If you're going to send 19 reminders to call to schedule an appointment, please don't make it such a hassle to do so.

Special Needs Great Staff Calm Environment Best Dentist

My son has special needs Everyone was great with my son. They talk to him while he was getting the root canal. That kept him calm. A job greatly done. Best dentist ever. My God bless them all.
