Renew Family Dentistry

Courteous and Professional were my initial thoughts, as I was greeted by the staff at Renew Family Dentistry. They kept me informed at every stage and made sure I understood every part of the process. I don't think any part of the exam or cleaning could have gone better.

We have been going to Dr. Maxwell and Renew Family Dentistry for years. I have only had cleanings in the past until last week in which I had to have a crown. I had a couple weeks of needles anxiety before the dental appointment. Dr. Mawell did an excellent job and NO PAIN! Would highly recommend him! The whole staff is great too!

My young son and I have been going to Renew Family Dentistry for a few years now for teeth cleanings and a filling as well as for Invisalign and now a veneer for myself. I have always found Dr. Maxwell and his staff to be extremely professional, knowledgeable, accommodating, fair, and friendly. They do great work, are wonderful with kids, and are seriously a pleasure to visit. Plus the office is always beautiful and clean with full amenities. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Renew Family Dentistry is wonderful! They take great care of this dental-phobic gal and Dr. Ren, Dr. Probst and the entire staff make me feel at ease and really take care of my teeth!

Had 2 crowns done on subsequent days (thursday and a friday). They look and feel great.

They have a CNC machine there in the office that lets them fabricate the crown after using a scanner to scan your teeth. No waiting for weeks for the crown to be manufactured, its done in 45 minutes while you wait!

Everyone there is super nice and professional. Chris and the team there at Renew did a great job.

My wife has known Josh Maxwell since they were kids and we were worried that the new crew would not be as good. This is not something we are worrying about any longer. The new owners have not let the quality or service slide, which is good news because looking for a new dentist is a pain.

Doctor Laura Bratcher is amazing, top notch, one of the best. Her staff is as well. I have been going to her for 20 years and she is the only dentist that has made me feel comfortable and I have had extensive dental work & get horrible anxiety by the thought of going to the dentist ... if you are second guessing or scared about going to the dentist I would sincerely tell you to give her a try.

Five Stars, hands, down. Dr. Probst, DMD, is the best of the best in Frisco and in the DFW area. He and his staff oversee the health of my and my husband's smiles. He proposed a detailed dental plan for me, after I inquired on straightening my teeth and, ultimately, cosmetic dentistry for my desired look. He listened and understood from the beginning exactly what I wanted my end result to be. He guided my Invisalign experience with fantastic results. I opted for in office Zoom bleaching and had optimal results. He has since capped six of my uppers, according the the original dental plan. I love my smile! He and his entire staff are awesome and caring professionals. I highly recommend Dr. Probst and Renew Family Dentistry!

If I could give this practice no stars I would. I transferred my Invisalign case to them about 8 months ago and I wished that I had not. At the beginning they charged me $500 when I had already paid for my trays and Invisalign does not charge them a penny. They did not bother to file this with insurance...not that they would have covered it. I paid it but was not happy about it. They called it "chair time". Close to the end of my treatment, the trays quit fitting properly and I advised the assistant that they were not. She spoke with Dr. Probst and he declined to take a look. I have a very stubborn tooth that has had to have 2 revisions of trays and that was what was causing the tray to not fit correctly. The assistant said that I should be happy with the results as maybe that was all they could do. I thought that was a strange response. I go back 2 weeks later having not worn the ill-fitting trays for one of the weeks as they were making the stubborn tooth turn in the opposite direction than what was wanted. Dr. Ren proceeded to fuss at me for not calling and being non-compliant in wearing the trays. The assistant let me know there would be a charge for rescanning and submitting to Invisalign to get me back on track. The office manager called me the next day to let me know it would be another $550! Are you kidding me? Invisalign charges nothing for this. I told the manager that I would NOT be proceeding with treatment and the charge was ridiculous. Today I was notified by insurance that this practice filed 2 claims with them for payment. One claim is for $550 and the other is for $340. I'm not even sure where the last dollar amount comes from, but I do recognize insurance fraud when I see it. These people are petty and unprofessional. Beware!

PS. They also bombard you with texts and paperwork and emails...mainly to get you to review the practice. It's a pain.

My first visit and it was a great experience - My wife insisted I change my dentist so here i was. I was relaxed and did not get stressed out throughout the deep cleaning procedure. Nicki was very gentle during the cleaning and explained everything very well. I will definitely recommend to friends and family.

It's Dec 2019. I am not sure when I posted the above review. It has been an pleasant experience for the 3+ years. My hygeneist Nicki does an outstanding job. She really cares that your teeth look the best, and gums stay healthy. On her recommendation I opted for Invisalign. I am happy with the results till now. Another few months and it will be done.
Dr. Maxwell's practice has modern tools and great staff. I definitely recommend to anyone in need of a good dentist. Dr. Maxwell does take good care of his patients.

Best dentist I've ever been to! With the aromatherapy, lip balm, wet heated towel, TV on the ceiling and general pampering it felt like I was at a spa instead of a dentist. Everyone was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely concerned for my comfort.
