I had an appointment setup for Sept. 3rd 8am for a cleaning. Was told it should only cost less than $50 if i remember correctly, since i moved from another area and had to perform a deep cleaning on my first visit. Had to reschedule a couple of times due to schooling. On my way to the Villagio Center my car gave out on me and was very frustrated with what happened. I ended up texting later that evening after 5pm letting them know how sorry i was and the bad luck i was having with transportation.
They seemed to be nice about it and was told they would relay to their manager on the matter and get back with me on it..since there is a fee for missing appointments. I never heard back from them until i received a letter in the mail with a charge of $75 for missing the appointment.
They told me in a text previously they have a 2 day policy on rescheduling or cancelling appointments which is fine. I or no one i know can predict the future especially when it comes to car issues. After i texted them letting them know this, i told them i would just have to contact them back letting them know when i would have the time to get back with them on the appointment.
I understand policy and all, but it just seemed like a slap in the face when having such bad luck to receive this fee from them with no understanding from them when it came to my position. Definitely WILL NOT be going back to this place in the future.
UPDATE: 10-9-19
The manager from Villagio Family Dental did call back after my review of what happened. She was very courteous and understanding of the situation i was in at the time and decided to waive the fee of $75 in which she said was a mistake not caught in time. They realize life happens from time to time and people need a break in order to get things in order. Thank You Villagio Family Dental for being understanding in this matter! Your office is very clean and staff are very nice and i wouldn't mind coming back as a customer in the future!
