Bliss Dental and Orthodontics - Midland

I have always gone to family owned dental practitioners and now I know why. I chose this facility because they had good reviews on Google. When I went I was obviously hoping for the best but I got mediocre. When I came in I was greeted by friendly staff and was seen right away. X-rays went great, very nice personnel. Then I went into the chair. I waited just a short time, which is normal but what wasn't normal was the very loud music blaring, I couldn't believe they could work in an atmosphere with such loud music, let alone hear one another. I could hardly hear the dentist and his associates when they were talking to me. When I saw the Doctor he explained everything he was seeing in my mouth, which was normal. Then I was told the hygienist was backed up, I didn't mind waiting. Instead the Doctor decided to do my cleaning, which I was excited about because most doctors wouldn't have done that. Then the bad part happened, he was very rough, water was squirting in my face and eyes , the communication between his staff and him to me was not apparent. I am used to more care being given while having a cleaning, professional communication and some sort of resistance when it comes to the rinse/suction tool . Then after he was done, he left. My mouth was throbbing. I have been seeing a dentist since I was in pre-school , I have never had a bad experience and I have even had braces. Then here comes the hygienist. During his polishing of my teeth he keeps stopping to talk , with the polish in my mouth, my mouth watering, I'm gagging on my spit then he finally washes it every few minutes and sucks the water out. Again terrible communication when it comes to putting things in my mouth and I was being squirted in the face , again. The hygienist wasn't even wearing what most hygienist I have seen wear as far as professional equipment. The topic of conversation got interesting as it started to include his sorted past and my deciding to have children or not seeing as I was " up there" in age , appropriate? Probably not for everyone , a lot of people suffer from certain ailments that may prevent them from having a child, etc. My experience was not a good one, I took my X-Rays and am having my fillings done elsewhere. I'm okay with the fact that some people have off days but I do not like that my mouth was sore and the way the actual procedure went, it was careless and not professional.

I’ve only had one visit but the staff and Dr. Todd were so sweet to me and made me feel comfortable and at ease. I had a terrible experience at the Midland South location and this visit has made up for that and then some.

Came to get a simple cleaning at 9:00am and by 11:00am when I asked how much longer because I had to pick up my child at 11:50am they said it wasn’t going to happen ,if I wanted to reschedule. Now I’m waiting for my X-rays to be sent so I can go to another dentist office! Basin dentistry I hope you are so much better 🤞🏼

Staff well mannered great dentists had two teeth removed from upper had infection causing issues with one great job

I enjoyed every visit. They cleaned everything while I was there. They always have humor and dont pressure you into buying a plan. They have always been professional and value your time knowing that you work. They get the job done and pain less.

Change your receptionist. Poor people's skills!!!!!! I will never EVER bring my family here!!!!!

I visited Bliss Dental with my wife and 7 year old. It was a great overall experience for all of us. The whole staff is very friendly and they just love to help their patients! Must visit if you love your and loved ones teeths! :)

Th best dental office i have been to. The staff here is AMAZING! so friendly, helpful and professional. My children use Dr Anne and she is wonderful I had Dr Mendoza for my recent visit to have a crown done. I must say he is a wonderful dentist. He took extra care to ensure i was comfortable during my procedure as i am 8 months pregnant. I was very nervous to have this procedure but thanks to Dr. Mendoza's care i had a very good experience and crown came out PERFECT! and this is why i am taking time to review this great dental office. I highly recommend coming to this dental office. i drive from Andrews just to have my family seen by them. Thanks for another great visit Bliss Dental!

I got in quick. The doctor was very thorough in checking my teeth and mouth.
The cleaning was quick and painless.
10/10, will go again.

They have very friendly staff and a short wait time. I have taken my whole family to them and they have been great with both my 2 year old and my 10 year old. My kids are no longer afraid of the dentist because of the friendly staff. They are amazing!
