Bliss Dental and Orthodontics - Midland

My husband and I came in as new patients to Bliss Dental. After our first visits we both loved our hygienist however they were 30 mins late getting him back and 45 mins late getting be back. I understand the new guidelines that have to be followed cause of Covid-19 so I let it go. I went back today (very next day) to do a consultation with the ortho Dr, waited an hour and 10 mins just to be called back, then waited another 45 mins for the Dr to come in ☺️ I’d say they lack organizational skills and need someone to take charge of their patient scheduling. No one even apologized to me for waiting so long.

This is the first dentist I've ever had that didn't send me a reminder to get a checkup. The hygenist who was a big Mexican guy was terrific, very friendly and efficient. The x-ray tech was the same.. The young lady dentist who looked like she was barely out of college was apparently too busy, I waited at least 30 minutes after my cleaning to be seen. She lacked any real bedside manner. I asked for a broken tooth to be filed to take off a sharp edge and after waiting another 30 minutes I got up and left.

To keep it as short and simple as I can. The dentist was very nice that I had. They were on time getting me back. The worse part was the hygienist. He wanted to talk to you the whole time he was cleaning your teeth.... seemed like a nice guy but extremely rough cleaning and polishing. It was very uncomfortable and pretty painful and extremely rushed. My wife had the same experience from the hygienist. We had a friend recommend another dentist and plan on going with them next time around. I would be amazed if any of the dentist actually had this guy clean their teeth before because it was literally the worst (as in rushed and painful) cleaning I have had. If you choose to go to this location I highly recommend asking for a different hygienist.

Dr. Lee is very intelligent and amazing. She thoroughly went over my x-rays and the plan of care with me. The office is well run and efficient. I highly recommend coming here for your dental needs.

Overall, I believe that Bliss Dental offers the most pleasurable experience that can be had at the dentist! Now, while I think it would be a stretch to say that ANY visit to the dentist could be classified as a "pleasure", as dentist visits go, I think Bliss is least "painful" I've ever experienced--pun intended. I should state that, due to previous neglect and poor habits, I have the onset of periodontal disease which causes me to have increased tooth and gum sensitivity. So, to elaborate on that "least painful" comment, the dentist and hygienist were incredibly warm and friendly--which, although doing absolutely nothing to ease the physical effects of my visit, did exponentially reduce my anxiety level. (I should also state that, while they do offer gas to deal with these issues, I opt out of that service.) The wait time seems a little hit or miss, but I can attest to noticeable efficiency increases over the past year or so--I was in and out for my semi-annual check up and cleaning within an hour. Also, their use of technology (or, perhaps, the system architecture employed) made recalling previous visit information/records quick and precise. I would highly recommend Bliss to any of my family and friends!

Staff is really friendly. Very helpful getting info on my insurance. Docs were friendly and gentle. Overall my first experience was great!

I have had bad dental experiences before. Dr. Ann took the time to explain things in detail before we got started. She made me so comfortable I went ahead with the deep clean same day, and the results were better than I could ever imagine. I feel like I have good teeth now, erasing over a decade of worry, stress, and bad dentist experiences. Painless, low price, trustworthy, caring staff, and #1 thing is great results, thank ya'll so much!

I got great service and it was my first time. They seem conscious of making one's experience a great enjoyable one. Cleaning and exam went well, the Doctor was real nice and the person who did the cleaning engaged me throughout in a nice way. I would gladly recommend.

DR.ANA. ( I call her ) & her staff are always very nice. DR.ANA. takes her time , she answers all questions. I appreciate the way DR.ANA. & her staff treat me . I have had to miss a couple of appointments with DrANA due to reasons I’d rather not discuss with DRANA staff . I ask whoever I spoke to several times to please tell DR ANA to return my call so I may talk to her for a minute. She never called idk why if she was not told or just didn’t want to.

Dr. Cho was fantastic. She was thorough in explaining her recommendations and answered all questions. I appreciated office staff getting me scheduled in a timely manner and in the efficient care they provided.
