Dr. Sivie is very kind and helped me figure out options for my dental procedures. She is very professional and Nina, the Dental Assistant, is very kind as well. She is very helpful!

Outstanding in every way. They are always extremely professional and patient-centered. Today's visit in the midst of the pandemic showed again how careful they are with patients, from screenings before entering the building to patient care throughout the experience. Highly recommended.

Please take caution when going to this dental practice. Being new to the area, my wife and I were looking for a reputable dentist. After doing a Google search, which is the norm now, Williams and Sivvie popped up with excellent ratings. We scheduled and visited their practice a couple months ago. At first sight, the practice is very nice and has technology that I have never seen in any dental practice, which I'll get to later. My wife went first on a separate day and the initial visit lasted 3 hours but to their credit they did prep us ahead of time. By the time my wife called me when she left I was listening to her crying because she was told she had 14 cavities. 14! Now, quick backstory, my wife had not been to the dentist since right before she got pregnant, which was just over 2 years. Did we expect she may need some work? Possibly but we were optimistic.

When my wife got home she had some products with her they recommended would get her on a corrected course. She felt completely blindsided as she has NEVER had issues with her teeth. My initial thought when she told me this was to question the validity of the diagnosis but given the practice had such positive ratings from customers, I figured my wife had issues they discovered we needed to correct.

Next, it was my turn to visit the practice. It took roughly the same amount of time and I was greeted with a very friendly staff. I was told that I had some inflammation on my upper gum that they recommended a gel to use to clear it up (which it did and I thank them for that). I was further told I had 3 small areas that weren't a cause for concern but they would like to monitor it and check on those 3 areas when I schedule my next visit. After leaving, I was somewhat shocked because I am a person who never misses brushing, flossing, and mouthwash - minimum twice a day! Furthermore, I was 2 months late on my cleaning (as stated earlier we moved to the area and in the chaos of moving my cleaning fell behind). However, I have not missed my prior scheduled cleanings before that. So, as I left and thought about my wife's diagnosis and now mine, some serious concern of this dental practice started to come about. How do 2 people who take care of their teeth on a daily basis have these issues? Now it was time to get some answers.

Luckily for us, we have a very experienced dentist in our family. The reason why we did not seek out our family member is because they live almost 9 hours away from us. We called our family member and since we were going to be in the area where he lived attending a funeral, they said to come by and let them look. My wife was the one who visited them and they did the normal dental cleaning check up with x-rays, poking around to see if anything sticks, etc. After everything, they did NOT FIND 1 CAVITY!!!! Not, "oh, I'm only seeing 10 or 12." No, they DIDN'T FIND ANY!! WHAT WAS THE DENTIST GOING TO DRILL ON IF THERE WERE 0 CAVITIES? Now, they did find one area that has what dentists term "etching" that they said will go away over time with product. So, how does 1 dentist find 14 cavities and the other find 0? Maybe it has to do with when I had my visit they doctor said there are some dentist who are overly aggressive with diagnosis and some who are very conservative. Sorry, but I'm going to trust a family member when they tell us that my wife has 0 cavities. I truly felt this practice has so much technology with their lasers they point into your mouth, swabbing your mouth to determine the level of acidity your mouth produces, and their tiny cameras to take pics of your mouth and show you your "problem" areas to invoke fear into patients making them believe the dentist is correct. And if you are like me and my wife, you are going to intially believe them because you hope the person telling you these things is doing it for your betterment.

I hope whomever reads these posts is informed that there are other options out there. Dont take the opinion of one dentist, especially when you feel they dont have your best interest in mind!

It’s always a pleasure to come in for a perio maintenance service! Today, Donna (assisted by Cynthia) provided me with 5-star treatment, and Dr. Sivie sat in for a bit to ensure I was taking care of a recently reseated crown. Thanks again for your great care!

Today (02-27-2020), I once again received 5-star service from Donna! She gently cleaned and polished my teeth, as is her style. I can always trust Donna (and the entire W&S team) to provide their best service on every visit!

Today (06-25-2020), I again received 5-star service from the team of Donna & Cynthia! Donna again cleaned & polished my teeth, & Cynthia handled the taking of x-rays with care! Well done team!

Today’s visit (11-05-2020) was with Donna, assisted by Cynthia. Today’s visit included 5-star service, and a new feature: the addition of a new high-speed suction device, to better control the spray (or aerosols) from the cleaning, a COVID-19 innovation. This is a welcome addition to the tools available for service, so thanks to the entire team for adding this!

I have been a patient of Dr Nicole Sivie’s since returning to Texas, over 6 years ago, and had done so on my daughter’s advice. When you walk in the staff is so friendly, calling everyone by name. When called back, Jeanette, Dr Sivie’s asst. is always making sure I’m comfortable before she does any preliminary work. Dr Sivie is marvelous. She loves challenges, is smart as a whip and kind and caring. Both my husband and I, now seniors, are treated like we are special to the practice. How much better could that be? The work Dr Sivie does is flawless. She is a perfectionist and works until all is corrected. They all make us feel like family.
