I had an amazing experience with this dental office today. I originally made an appointment here because of their new client special. I paid $59 for a full exam (x rays too) and a cleaning. The hygienist was fast and did a great job. The dentist was so kind and explained everything clearly. He also complimented my teeth which made me feel good! I didn't have to wait at all. They got me right back and I went from X-ray to exam to cleaning without any wait.
I highly recommend Round Rock Dentists and Dr. Dyke. I will be back and refer friend and family here.

TL;DR: Expect a huge out of pocket bill for teeth cleaning
All these years, I have never paid for getting my teeth cleaned outside of my insurance coverage. I did not have any teeth problems, wanted dental cleaning for my oral hygiene. After 1 hour of XRays and doctors examination, they told me they dint have time the same day for cleaning and gave me a bill of $500+ saying I needed deep cleaning which is only covered 80% by my insurance. When i said I’m not paying that much for cleaning and if i could just get the regular cleaning, their staff said its a disease and this is the cure, we won’t do regular cleaning.
I had them email me all the x rays and took it to another dentist who happily cleaned my healthy teeth at no cost to me.

The dentists were nice and good. But I was often upcharged with mysterious charges, and had to argue with them to prove what services were covered. CHECK YOUR BILL CLOSELY. I would've been ripped off even more if I wasn't hyper-vigilant on some billing issues. I even had to convince them that my 8 year old is not an "adult" by insurance standards. Definitely not going back.
UPDATE: I called the office this morning, as they requested, and was put on hold for 10 minutes and then it went to voicemail. I will wait for a call back.

Dr. Dyke and his crew are very friendly and professional. This dental practice comes with lots of recommendation from myself. The only main issue I have is the traffic bc of the expansion near the location. This appointment, I had Kiesha as my dental assistant who took me in from beginning to end. She was respectful and had consideration on my assistance I needed. She communicated with the other assistant that was treating my husband to help me. Kiesha took the time she needed to treat and see I had no other questions. Great job Dr. Dyke for having such a great staff!

After I asked if I was done with payments they sent me another bill. $1200 for a crown repair with insurance. I can't believe I went back to schedule a cleaning... they wanted $800 with insurance. Treatment plan contained needless filling "redo's" & other frivolous "lets just do it" work. There are plenty of dentists in the area that can take care of you with better financial awareness of others.

I have significant Dental Anxiety, and it is hard for me to get numb. I have never spoken of this, but from the encouragement of my wife, I decided to discuss it with Dr. Reema Dhanani. She was compassionate and professional and did not make me feel like an idiot for discussing my concerns. She offered up a solution that worked much better than what I had experienced throughout my life. I have found my new dentist!

This has to be the worst dentist ever...
1st the crown they did for me is terrible.
2nd the office staff is rude.
And they have a new office manager that now 2 years after my visit is trying to tell me my insurance didn't cover the procedure I had done ..I have tried talking with her and explained that the office verified my insurance before my visit but she has now sent my bill to collections and doesn't return my calls ...This office also over charged me for making ny crown in house by telling me my insurance didn't cover that , but it actually did and the Insurance Company had to call the office and tell them that they are over charging customers and they had to refund my money .
Just be careful and aware of what your insurance actually covers ..
BETTER YET DONT EVEN GO ..I AM NOW USING CLEAR VIEW DENTAL IN PFLUGERVILLE AND COULDN'T BE HAPPIER !

Dr. Dyke is an exceptional human and exceptional at his job. Getting unperfect teeth perfect is an uncelebrated achievement! This office definitely goes the extra mile to correct what we were born with, as well as their own human mistakes. In my experience, I had to return a few times to get things right and the staff and Dr. Dyke were great each time!
