Friendly people, made me laugh. Very personable yet totally professional, from the receptionist to the doc. Hello you to be at ease when they know your not. Nobody likes going to the dentist, unless you were smart and took excellent care of your teeth. For those of us that fall in the other catagory, they are well worth the visit.

Great knowledgeable staff only con is that the orthodontists only come in on Wednesdays making it difficult for the average working adult. Don't bother bringing it up over the phone or in person they get super offended. The additional problem to this is that their PM appointments get booked quick leaving no room but to book further out. I am hoping they consider opening weekends especially if it's a simple process 🙏
Another problem I dealt with is my husband not being able to recieve a deep cleaning since they couldn't accept his insurance we needed urgent care on him due to a wisdom tooth as well by which got taken care of in another dental office with his insurance.

My family and I have been coming here (to the San Marcos location) for 5 years but after today I will be changing locations. This place has a very rude office staff that is just not hospitable or accommodating to their clientele. Originally when we chose this place, we made it known, that we needed Saturdays for my husband who’s only off on that day. He attended 2 Saturdays and then they kept scheduling him during the week. If we tried to change it to Saturdays, they give us the run around that they are booked for the next 3-6 months. Also, anytime I’ve had to reschedule, they’d give me attitude and the next appointment would be a month out. Yet, I’ve overlooked these things because of the skilled and knowledgeable doctors and hygienists. However, today my daughter came in for a procedure that involved sedation. I dropped her off and was going to be in the vicinity. My daughter (whose 25), immediately called me and told me that they REQUIRED for someone to stay and wait. I got off, went up to the front desk and asked what the problem was (thinking they need a form filled out or an insurance card), to which the young lady responded in a condescending manner. I let her know we were never told someone would have to be right outside waiting. She repeated what she said and proceeded to threaten me that they would have to take legal action if I walked out. I let her know that last year, my other daughter got referred out for this and she was sedated. That establishment had no problem with me leaving. All this could have been avoided IF they would have been clear and upfront about the expectations (way ahead of time) but, instead this particular young lady chose to be disrespectful and unprofessional. Unfortunately, it’s the front office staff that represents and sets the tone for the whole establishment. Needless to say, the staff could have been better trained in people etiquette.

It's been years since my last dentist visit and I was a bit nervous. I was with my last dentist for almost 15 years, but they sold their practice. But I must say this was a great first time back in the chair. Everyone was so friendly, and even though they seemed very busy, I felt tended to and cared about. Everyone from the front desk, to the hygienist to the dentist were so kind and listened to all my concerns. Looking forward to my next visit!

DISAPPOINTED! Why? Because I went to another dentist because I had toothache since Mother's Day and I called Crescent and was told that they could get me in 8 days. I had pain now and with all the doctor's that they advertise, couldn't believe that I couldn't be seen sooner. Ok, I said I will check with other dentist. I did get into another dentist office and it was an unfortunate diagnosis. I have been with Crescent Dental for more than 5 years and every time that I would go in, they would only do a quick cleaning all those years they would do the same thing. Well come to find out that I should have been getting a deep cleaning to avoid periodontist disease, which is what I now have and it's going to cost me a a pretty penny because on top of that, I was always told that my teeth were great but, NO I had small cracks on my molars and they never told me and now it's causing me alot of pain and $$. My last visit was around October or November of 2022 at Crescent Dental, so it hasn't been that long to have all this issues come about so quick. I am now looking at about a $2000 cost to fix my issues and that's with dental insurance. THANK YOU CRESCENT DENTAL! This other dentist that saw me was very thorough and took his time to explain all the issues that I have and his office staff are very polite and they know how to attend to customers needs. Plus, having insurance, I have noticed they have over charged me based on my insurance Explanation of Benefits and I have never been returned any of the money that overcharged. I will never go back to Crescent Dental and I have advised my family also to not go there anymore. This is my truth and it's all good that the reception office is nice but what matters is the care of the dentist and the knowledge to help you get the very best diagnosis.

They scheduled me on a Saturday as a new patient with an emergency and were friendly, helpful, professional and explained everything clearly and thoroughly.
The dentist, Dr Yang, was fantastic!! Office staff and assistants were amazing. They worked as a team. Can’t say enough good things about them!! I will definitely
return and recommend them to others.

Love the new owner, Dr. Parell- she is very friendly and very thorough. I’ve enjoyed Crescent for three years now and look forward to continued cleanings!

For someone like me who has incredibly bad past dental experiences, this place was like a dream come true. I was treated by a very friendly staff and a dentist that was kind, listened to my prior issues, and explained everything beforehand to ease my anxiety. I am very happy to return for more appointments in the future.

Dr. Yang and the technical staff at Crescent Dental were incredibly helpful. I have never had a better experience in a dentist’s office. Dr. Yang was gentle, polite, thorough and explained everything she did as she did it. Each person i spoke with from receptionist to doctor was kind and jubilant. Crescent dental is definitely a wonderful place to go if you are in need of comprehensive and carefully-crafted dental care.
