Centerville Dental Group

I would personally love to share my experiences with the world and state of Utah about my Centerville Dental Group and Orthodontics. I have now been going to the Centerville office for as long as 6/7 years and I see these ladies every 3 months religiously!!!!
They really take care of you, they talk to you about anything and everything about your mouth and teeth. I really trust them and I don’t trust a lot of different people around my mouth, it’s my temple to life, not all people are allowed. Cheryl Benedict my Hygienist has to be the best in the business, I love her ethic, her assistant even before she get to me I’m well taking care of, from everyone who I’m involved with from the time I enter those doors to the last person I see before leaving I truly am blessed to have this group of professionals to deal with me on a every 90 day basis (3months). I had chances to switching and going somewhere else but again all these wonderful people that work and care for me, isn’t worth me leaving and starting over again where they are not personal, I’m known on a first name basis, these ladies can tell you where I work, how long I’ve been with them and what I need so that I keep the perfect mouth and smile no point intended, but again nothing else works for me mouthwise, Thank you to each and every individual that work hard to keep me updated on my personal hygiene. To the wonderful young women whom help cleans and flosses my teeth, she is just as important as Gillian Finnerty who finishes the job up last, I appreciate all of you wonderful women that work there, thank you to all that take very good care of me, I would never switch up on you because each and every last one of you that I deal with are awesome ….

I don’t know where to start. I had a root canal here 2 years ago that took 4 hours. They would leave the room and not come back for what felt like forever, when they first put me on the laughing gas they didn’t check on me and it started to get to be too much and I felt really sick and it took so long for someone to check on me so I could ask them to give me less. That wasn’t enough to write a bad review. I went back a couple months ago for a cleaning, the dental hygienist came and started measuring my gums, told me I had periodontal disease and cavities in almost all my teeth and that I’d need to get deep cleanings every 3 months, each of which would cost over $500 the first one being a full grand. They also didn’t tell me they no longer accepted my insurance til the end of the appointment. I told them I could not afford that and they refused to even do a basic cleaning. I just knew none of that was true. I made an appointment at a different dentist where they measured my gums and said they were healthy and I only had 1 cavity and a deep cleaning was absolutely not needed. They also did an x-ray that showed that the crown from my root canal 2 years ago was shaped incorrectly and that I would need to go back to this place to get it fixed. They completely lied to me to get my money and I don’t even want to come back here to get my crown fixed because I have never had a good experience.

They are really only focused on the money! I had an appointment and had to wait get some work, wait and then had to wait some more. The assistant finished my crown and I complained next visit it didn’t feel right and they said it was just my nerves. I went back several times with no resolve. First visit with other dentists office and fixed it. Not bad if you like wasting money, them drilling out your teeth and not fixing properly. They should close their doors I’ve seen and heard the same issue from 4 other people. Do not recommend. 2 stars because they try but take a step back and think they’re criminal

My son broke a tooth in half due to a hockey accident… the next morning I called here, not only did they get him right in, Dr finnerty was AMAZING!! She was personable and fast and efficient! She had a root canal and crown down in 2 hours!!! AND the prices were so reasonable and they worked with us!! The receptionist was so dang sweet and wonderful as well!!! I’ve never been MORE happy with a dentist!! She has my business for life!

Great experience every time I go! Met them at a local chamber of commerce business expo couple years ago. Been a client since.
Dr Finnerty is so knowledgeable, efficient and kind.
Cheryl is the best for cleanings. Does a great job helping me improve my receding gums to avoid other problems and costs.
Mal the dental assistant is amazing and in top of everything as is Loo. (Names?)
Wendy and Charley provide pricing before work begins. Sensitive to my limited finances and options.

Since my dentist retired about 4 years ago I have had a very difficult time finding a dentist. I had 2 different dentists and they ended up moving locations, then with COVID it has been challenging because I am very particular when it comes to my dental care. I was lead to Gillian Finnerty at Centerville Dental Group and my first appointment was today. I was greeted with smiling faces from Charlie and Emily at the front desk. They were so friendly and warm I immediately felt comfortable and at ease. Then Dr. Finnerty came right out to the lobby and greeted me and gave me a antibiotic I needed prior to my teeth cleaning. She was amazing! The x-ray technician was friendly and helpful. The dental hygienist Cheryl was so sweet, explained things to me and went the extra mile. They didn’t even know me yet they treated me as a friend, someone important. I am truly grateful my search for a good dentist Intrust, and a wonderful office staff has been found. I would gladly recommend Dr. Finnerty to anyone needing great dental care. She was very professional, but personable as was every member of her staff. I didn't question any of the treatment nor did I think their pricing was unreasonable. I really, really dislike going to the dentist, but she made the experience the best I've had. I won't mind going back to see her on a regular basis.

Hands down, the best Dentist I have EVER had! Dr. Finnerty and her team are the most professional, caring, honest and sweetest team, I have ever been to. I feel very cared for, and Dr. Finnerty spends the time needed to make sure that your needs have been met, I have had a lot of work done and never feel a bit of pain.
