Iβm picky with who I see but Dr. Goold excels Iβm so many ways. Great Dentistry and he explains procedures thoroughly. Itβs really cool to hear his travel stories too. Definitely recommend him to all my friends

Tiffany was amazing! She was very thorough and took time to assure I knew what was going on and even took it a step further to educate me on what each required treatment was going to help. Nothing but good things to say about my experience at Gentle Dentistry. Thank you Tiffany!

I have been going to Gentle Dentistry for over 15 years since I moved to St. George. Dr. Gregerson was a thoughtful collaborative dentist, always communicative and gentle with my sensitive teeth. As Dr Gregerson moved to retiring and Dr Evans came into the practice I experienced him as a dentist who embodied why the practice is called Gentle Dentistry and had excellent experiences with him and Marilyn was an incredible front desk manager always kind, patient and helpful.
Unfortunately I will no longer refer anyone I know to use Gentle Dentistry due to the recent lack of patient care and lack of trauma informed care that was experienced led by Dr Goold and the staff who showcased a striking and alarming inability to work with people who have had trauma in their life. Not just trauma or anxiety for dental visits but complex ptsd, which makes it difficult for ptsd patients to receive adequate medical care because of how hard it is to get someone who has had trauma to come in and get these appointments done.
In an attempt to create collaborative care I found their was little communication between the staff, no one was up to speed and I had to keep flagging and saying the same things about this particular case over and over again which showed little care to details that could have made this experience more comfortable and less flooding.
It is incredibly disappointing how Gentle Dentistry handled this whole patient situation and lack of patient care and the lack of trauma informed care that transposed. Appointments that were incredibly important to maintain were moved without thought or consideration to the difficulty of this case even though this was flagged as a big concern multiple times. There was a βdeal with it attitudeβ by the staff and little workability and understanding as to why maintaining set appointments were so important. Moving people in extensive pain and making them wait longer, moving appointments without consideration is such poor patient care. Especially when very specific requests and information was given about how to best handle this case.
If Gentle Dentistry as a practice truly understood trauma informed care this whole case would have been handled differently. I was clear from the beginning this was a complex ptsd case not just a severe anxiety case and your practice has shown it doesn't understand the difference. Dr Goold during the exam acted frustrated and exasperated with little attention and concern to the flooding and overwhelm that was happening from the patient and reacted in a way that contributed to the flooding and reactivity rather than create an environment of compassionate care, and the staff was reactive rather than patient and calm exhibited later by the call I received that a patient needs to have a better attitude. It was so disappointing and does not encompass what the name of your business stands for and why so many people have gone their for years prior with truly gentle compassionate Dentists like Evans and Gregerson.
I would encourage your practice and staff to come up to speed with what it means as medical professionals to understand and hold the standard of trauma informed care. There is no way I could ever refer anyone that has had trauma to come get help on their teeth from you, AND if you are a patient considering treatment for your teeth reading this and have had any kind of trauma I would not go to this dentist.
Lastly If Dr Goold is going to hold the ability to offer sedation for patients which seems a limited service in this town for dentists, and there are patients in particular that need this layer of service when they go to the dentist, then increasing the ability to work with those that would need this level of intervention is imperative and not the experience that was had with him.
Very very disappointing to leave a patient who was in desperate need and in a lot of pain to wait 2 weeks then push out a week further and not work harder to keep set critical appointments and be collaborative with care, and treat them more compassionately. Very poorly done

Dr. Evans is truly the best dentist I've ever had! It's so refreshing to find a practice where their focus is on the health of your smile and not on the price of a treatment plan. I appreciate his conservative care and kindness.
If you are looking for a Dentist, you should really go to Gentle Dental, where there is no pressure.
The entire team is so caring and professional!
It was a great experience.

Gentle Dentistry has a very welcoming and warm environment from the first phone call to schedule throughout the appointment and scheduling my follow-up. Tiffany is an excellent hygienist and took great care to explain what she was doing and seeing in my oral health. Dr. Evans is very professional with a warm chair-side manner that I really appreciate. Treatment, insurance, and my out of pocket amounts were presented to me honestly and with options for me to have the best experience and ownership over my overall oral health and wants for my smile. Excellent people and office!

First time attending Gentle Dentistry. All staff was very friendly and the process was quick. They do live up to their name: Gentle. I had just a routine cleaning, but there was minimal discomfort. Mandy was the hygienist and did a great job. The dentist was very friendly and took the time to get to know me. They seem very knowledgeable, they use high quality equipment, and it worked well with my insurance. Iβm planning my next dental appointment here!

Gentle dentistry is a wonderful office to have your dental work done. All the staff is very friendly and kind and caring about their patients. My dental hygienist, Stephanie, is very good. She is thorough and gentle & efficient in the way she cleans my teeth. She makes sure that I am comfortable at all times & is very reassuring. I felt no discomfort.

It is always such a pleasant experience going to my appointments at Gentle Dentistry! The dental hygienist does a great job and doesnβt cause unnecessary pain. Dr. Evans takes the time to listen to your concerns and has never done any dental work that wasnβt necessary. If you are looking for great dental professionals this is your place!
