I just recently switched to Essex Family Dental and words cannot describe the amazing experiences I’ve had. I had two procedures done within the last 4 months and a cleaning and everything has been so smooth, I feel like I sit down and before I know it I’m already walking out the door. Dr Makay is such a natural at what he does and everyone in that office that I have encountered whether it was getting prepped before a procedure, a cleaning or dealing with the front desk has been sooo positive and welcoming. If you are looking for a dentist and aren’t sure, Essex is the place!!!! I am so glad I am a patient here! And I can actually say I enjoy going to the dentist since I started here!

I’m from out of town and had been needing a root canal done but due to work I had to cancel. Hesitantly I asked a few of my coworkers if they knew of a good dentist and she told me EFD. Made the appointment, got right in. Was seen by Dr. Bryan; he came up with his care plan and I scheduled. I have really bad anxiety and dental anxiety so I knew it would be a scary procedure anyway. However, after having it done, I didn’t even know because I experienced ZERO pain. He did a FANTASTIC job and I wish I could take him back to Texas with me. Thank you so much Dr. Bryan and EFD. Everyone was so kind and compassionate of my fears. I would definitely recommend them for your dental needs.

I have been a patient at EFD for many years and each and every visit has been excellent!! The front office has taken great care to tend to my dental phobia…. I am not even sure I have it any more as a result.
Today I left EFD with a new front tooth that no one would ever even know I had replaced! Dr Feldman and his equally talented Assistant acted as though my route canal from when I was 16, that recently failed at 61, was their own tooth. Oh, and it was a front tooth! Every decision they made along the way is the reason I can smile again. I have lived many places and as such have had many dentists… VT has been home for the past 20 yrs and Essex Family Dental has been my dental home. I can not be any more grateful that I found my way to their beautiful clean office way back when! ….marti…

EFD is the best! The office staff is wonderful. They are very knowledgable and helpful. The dental team is kind, caring and never scold if I forget to floss!

Best dentists and hygienists AND front desk staff around. Very fair pricing, super efficient with patients’ time and very willing to accommodate preferences when they can. This is a respectful and inclusive space to get your dental work done and dental health cared for. I constantly recommend them to friends/family. If you are at all uneasy at the dentist this is the place to come to.

I always have a great experience when visiting EFD. I'm very nervous with dental visits and everyone makes you feel right at home. Staff from checking in, to assistants, to dentists, to checking out are all very nice, patient and compassionate. While sitting in the chair you can hear and feel the positive vibes amongst staff and they are just fantastic! Thank you for being so wonderful!

Words cannot express my gratitude to Dr. Lieberman and his assistant Shelby. They went way above and beyond to take care of me, despite my not even being a standing patient with them.

I have a long standing deep fear of dental work, and I was experiencing pain in a tooth that was completely taking over my life. Not only did they take pity on me, and stay beyond their shifts to fix me up when I showed up with no appointment, near their closing time; they did it with a level of empathy and compassion that I had never experienced in a clinical setting.

I am certain that if my earlier dental experiences were anything remotely like that one, I'd never have developed such a fear in the first place.

I'd recommend Dr. Lieberman, Shelby; and by association the entire staff at Essex Family Dental to anyone at all, but particularly to those who may feel judged, scared, or in denial about the state of their teeth.

It was very clean inside a couple of years ago when i was waiting at the front desk. Now, after covid, it's definitely not the greatest cleaning. You can see a dust all over when you are waiting in the loby🤧 😷.
