Doc Lynn Farrey has been the best dentist I have been to - this coming from someone who HATES going to the dentist and do everything I can to avoid it. I know I have bad gum issues and hate how I feel judged. Recently had trauma that affected my front left tooth so I HAD to go. Doc Farrey's office was great getting me in right away. I felt completely at ease with the root canal even during the painful "pinch" of the novacaine at the beginning. Doc Farrey eased all my fears and never felt judged or as nervous as I usually am. I can now say I will go on a regular basis since it is no longer a scary affair.

Customer friendly. Competent professionals. State of the art equipment and procedures. Found a new home for my dental needs.

I saw Dr. Farrey for the first time today after not seeing a dentist for far too long due to a bad experience with another dentist. I was embarrassed and very concerned prior to my visit. Dr. Farrey, Kim (front desk) Sofia (xrays), Cecily (hygenist extraordinaire) each made me feel extremely welcome and put my fears to rest. Sofia made me feel very comfortable throughout the quick and painless xray process. Dr. Farrey warmly greeted me after xrays, carefully explained what the visit would entail, reviewed each tooth on the xray screen with me, and discussed a treatment plan. I was looking for a dentist who would get me back on track and help me acheive a healthy mouth. Dr. Farrey did just that-- there was no upsell for cosmetic or unnecessary procedures-- just an honest assessment and sensible approach to developing a plan forward. Next came the cleaning-- if I'd I known how gentle and easy this could be, I would not have delayed coming to the dentist at all! Cecily the hygenist is the most gentle, kind, patient hygenist I've ever experienced. No pain. Zero. Even with a few sensitive teeth. I feel very fortunate to be a new patient here, and I'm relieved and surprised that I no longer have to dread the dentist. If you're a scaredy cat like me, go visit this practice. You will not regret it!

My experience at Dr. Farrey's office was entirely positive. She's a great dentist with a delicate touch and a superb staff. 10/10 would recommend.

Everyone is always so welcoming and kind. They all take the time to talk to you and explain everything about your visit. I have a very difficult work schedule that makes it hard to plan appointments, but the staff is always helpful planning and rescheduling.

I went to Dr. Farrey to get a last minute cleaning when my regular dentist / hygienist was overbooked. Dr. Farrey is a decent dentist. Her hygienist was ok but not thorough with my cleaning (compared to my regular hygienist). Dr. Farrey is professional and seemingly thorough. However, I got a small sense that she was eager to provide excess services rather than the specific care requested by the patient. She was eager to sell me a mouthguard. It's not that I didn't need it. Other dentists mentioned that it would be helpful to have but not a necessity. I just felt Dr. Farrey was being too aggressive about it. I agreed to buy it and the nightmare begins...

I paid over $200 out of pocket in addition to giving Dr. Farrey's billing team / receptionist the information for my two insurance companies. That was almost 4 months ago and I still haven't gotten a refund. Instead of her office following up, they've taken the carefree stance of "We haven't heard from your insurance yet so we are waiting still." Meanwhile I have gotten repeated responses from my insurance carrier that the claim needs to be corrected. I had to call the dentist 3 times to instruct them to follow-up and provide the paperwork requested by the insurance carrier. One time the dental office sent the insurance company the wrong billing charges for the services. Another time the information the dental office sent was incomplete. Dr. Farrey's office hasn't checked to see the reason I haven't been reimbursed fully even though its their fault. OF COURSE NOT!!! WHY??? BECAUSE HER OFFICE HAS ALREADY GOTTEN PAID!!! Why should they care??? BECAUSE I'M A CUSTOMER AND YOU SHOULD BE WORKING ON MY BEHALF TO ENSURE I'M SATISFIED!!!

Her dental office received a partial payment at least 2 months ago and I still haven't received my refund check. I just made a 7th call to Aetna now that Dr. Farrey's office has finally submitted all the information and it turns out that Aetna hadn't approved the bill correctly. I'm entitled to a 99% refund of the $200++ I paid. Aetna's billing error is something Dr. Farrey's billing team could have easily spotted. Instead I'm on the phone being transferred back and fourth between two Aetna departments to resolve the issue. This is after I've already called back and fourth between the dental office and AETNA to get Dr. Farrey's office to correct their mistakes so the claim can be reevaluated. That's ridiculous! This last four months have been a nightmare! I'M STILL WAITING FOR IT TO END...

Meanwhile I went to a dental surgeon within the same period. The surgeon also took an upfront payment along with the information for my two insurance carriers. I've already gotten 100% of my payment back. No hassle. One month turn around! That's how it should be!

NO MORE FARREY FOR ME!!!

I have anxiety. I didn’t expect to have an anxiety attack at this dental office during what most people would consider a routine dental procedure, but I did.
The staff at this office, including the dentist, could not have been more kind to me.
I got through it with their help. I highly recommend this dental office!

My first appointment at this office was great, the staff are all very friendly and attentive and Dr. Farrey is thorough and competent. I definitely would recommend it if you live or work in the Courthouse area!

Lynn F.by far is the most caring and professional dentist I've ever been to. I was in search of a great dentist cause we all fear and hate going to the dentist, but that comes to a end when you meet Lynn F.she conquers that fear of seeing a dentist, so professional and caring from the day I first met Lynn F.She is so awesome I continue to go to her and I live in Florida.my profession is in DC. .and I totally go out of my way for her services.
