Overcharged me and gave false information about what my insurance would cover. Still waiting for refund after 7+ weeks.
I came in August as a new patient, having forwarded my prior X-rays to their office. The hygienist wanted to take new X-rays. I told her not to, as they would not be covered by insurance. She left for a few minutes, came back, and said she double-checked, and it was fine, that they would be covered by insurance. So she took the X-rays.
Guess what... Insurance denied coverage. The staff at Courthouse Art of Dentistry deny any error or wrongdoing and insist that I pay the full cost myself.
They are also playing games with my insurance by filing the claim over and over (4 times now) with incomplete information. Each time, the insurance company sends it back to them marked as incomplete. So now it's been over 7 weeks and I'm still waiting for a complete insurance statement so I know how exactly how much of a refund they owe me. I suspect they're delaying it on purpose to avoid having to give me a refund.
