Hadn't been to the dentist in over 11 years...I have crippling anxiety at the dentists office. The staff were amazing, Dr. Berger is awesome! I was actually able to relax and let them do the work. After a couple visits to correct several years of damage the results are amazing and my smile is back in good order! I would give them more stars if possible! Definitely recommend this office!

The Doctors Berger Family Dentistry has worked on my teeth for over 25 years. I have also traveled the world playing college and professional hockey. I have had more dental work done than you can imagine. During my hockey carear I was worked on by dozens of dentist and have had some very bad experiences. Dr Chris is by far the BEST Dentist in the world in my opinion. I would reccomend him and his amazing team of employees to anybody in need of a dentist. You will never go any where else.

I been going to Doctor Berger Family Dentistry. over !0 years and the service has not change. Everyone in the office is soooo, friendly and polite. Love the Doctors each and every one of them. They are so polite, patient and do a wonderful job on your teeth and they always say if you have any problems please call and come back to the office so we can check to see what problem you are having, I remember long time ago I had appointment and I arrived early, I told Receptionist that I would be in the store next to the office and could you tell Dr. Berger (Father) that's where I would be. I got so carry away shopping that I was next in line for my appointment, to my surprise Dr. Berger (Father) walked over to the store looking for me and found me and told me "Hurry Up and Pay for your items you are next and I'll meet you back in the office". My question is who does that for they patients? Go look for them so they don't miss they appointment. Every since that day, I made up in my mind that the Doctor Berger Family Dentistry, will always be my dentist. I have recommend friends and my grandchild was a patient there also. Been going here for well over 20 years, loved the senior Dr. Berger and now think Dr. Chris is great too. Both my young daughters have been coming here since the age of 3 too. No sense in going to a "special" place for kids, all the staff here love having the kids in the clinic! Love the low key, easy going atmosphere here.

Dr. Chris Berger is by far the best dentist I have had ever. We recently moved to NC and WE all still drive to Virginia Beach to go to the dentist. The care that we receive here is beyond measure. They take pride in their work and show compassion to their patients. I have extreme dental phobias and I never feel belittle or have my fears minimized. I am always treated with respect and concern. The whole staff reflects the same care as the Doctors Berger do. I have recommended this office to several family and friends and I would recommend it for you too.

I love the Berger family! My husband and I were loyal customers for About 20 years. We adored hearing how the stories of how the sons were doing in school when the father was seeing us. The perfect place to receive dental care as far as we were concerned. Until about 2 years ago When I had was treated with disrespect, loud talking and was pretty much dismissed by the Spanish woman who handled insurance claims on 2 separate occasions is what caused us to make a decision I never thought I’d have to make at least not like this. When asked if one of the Doctors could give me a call about me work up the planned I was advised by her that The Doctors don’t return calls. I was floored. And made the decision to take our business elsewhere if this is how she thought she ran the office, and this was companies clients should be treated.

I've had the WORST luck with dentists over the past 10 years. But...NO MORE, my streak has ended with Dr. Berger! Love, love, love this practice! They are ALL rockstars! The staff...friendly, knowledgeable, professional, but fun so you feel at ease. Dr. Chris is awesome and is a phenomenal dentist. I'm so happy we found them. Went in with a horrible mess from another dentist and came out with everything fixed AND a new tooth. Like them sooo much I'm going in again next week for more work! Easy on the checkbook too. Definitely reccomend them for your whole family!

(5/15/19) Update from my post a year ago: Still absolutely LOVE the team here. I'm a little embarrassed to say I've had a lot of dental work done, but I finally had my LAST appointment yesterday to get everything fixed. You guys: I couldn't afford veneers but I FINALLY feel so confident to smile again! They did everything they could to make my smile beautiful and were so freaking patient with me - I truly felt like my happiness was the #1 goal. Thank you for making my dental experiences less scary. Thank you for being kind and gentle. Thank you for giving me my confidence back! I finally love looking in the mirror and smiling. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Even though we're moving 8 hours away, you can bet I'll be making the drive every 6 months for my cleaning. <3

If you have dental anxiety, you need to make an appointment here. Trust me. I have some crazy dental anxiety... I've had the pleasure of getting work done by 3 of the Berger doctors and they're all amazing. They do anything they can to help me relax including returning my call late at night when I was in pain. They're patient, reassuring and then some... Thank you Drs. Berger and team for making me feel comfortable and important!

I have been with this practice for more than 20 years, going back to when Dr. Paul Berger was in the practice himself. I had been to many dentists before and was always terrified to go. Once finding Dr. Berger, those fears were gone. As his sons and daughter-in-law (Dr. Chris, Dr. Arnold, and Dr. Fallon) have taken over the practice it has only gotten better. The staff is wonderful, you couldn't ask for more competent care from these doctors. They truly care about their patients. .
