Up until recently I had been a patient at Aspen dental in Pasco & Kennewick, WA for nearly 3 years. I had been using my insurance from Careington/Medishare and was always paying approximately $180 for my deep cleanings, then all the sudden the cost jumped to over $300. The people in that clinic would not clearly explain why that suddenly happened so I scheduled at another Aspen Dental clinic location in Kennewick, WA. When I went in for my deep cleaning appointment at the new location, they told me the price was once again going to jump up to $500 that I was โalways paying that muchโ, and would not clearly explain what was happening, so I refused and left. Despite the clinics having extremely inconsistent staff with high turnover, causing me a lot of stress, and calling me last minute many times to reschedule or cancel my appointments, I stayed with Aspen Dental because they had my records, it is a nightmare to switch and unaffordable for me to start over. I could only take so much and need to take care of my teeth so I decided to go to another dental business today. They looked at my teeth and did x-rays and said that I needed to contact my previous dental place immediately to get a refund for my care because they were without a doubt clearly NOT doing deep cleanings at all the whole time. I was led to believe I was receiving deep cleaning treatments due to tartar build up and gum problems while at Aspen dental but was being lied to, and it was clear on the x-rays that the build up could not have taken place since my last so called โdeep cleaningโ appointment. I am not very well off with crummy insurance and had to spend a lot of money at Aspen dental doing my best to keep my teeth healthy. I put my trust in Aspen Dental to honestly and fairly take care of my dental needs and was greatly deceived. Something needs to be done because this is not right at all and I was taken advantage of. Iโve emailed the district managers and still havenโt gotten a response from them . I just want them to make this right.
Aspen Dental is an extremely disrespectful company that is not interested in the customer at all. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere if you are considering a new dentist or getting any type of dental treatments being done.

First time to Aspen Dental. The reception was positive and helping. The dr. was very pleasant and reassuring on the procedures. I am looking forward to my upcoming visits.

Great same day appointments! Tad unsure how to make payments for exams as they just handed me the bill but did not ask for anything or say particularly, but overall great service!

Everyone there was incredibly empathetic and helpful. They got me in for a same day appointment after I was told it would be weeks at other clinics. 10/10 would recommend.

I absolutely LOVE the team at Aspen Dental in Pasco. I'm terrified of dental work. They made my experience so great, that I'm actually looking forward to getting the work done that I need. They are positive, gentle and really take the time to get to know their patients and to explain just exactly what they are doing before they start doing it. From the front desk, to the hygienist to Dr. Roberts, they are all fantastic.
Yesterday I went back for my 6 month cleaning. What I said about Dr. Roberts and John the hygienist hold true. The front desk however... it was a different woman this time and she was lackluster. She greeted me and then walked away without telling me to sign in or anything. I could hear her loudly speaking in the back and she even swore. Maybe be a bit more friendly and aware of what you're saying that patients can hear.

Pros: Quickly set appointments
Cons: More interested in making as much money off patients as possible.
I chose this location as they were the only place open on Saturdays, which it no longer is except on special appointments. It had been a few years since my last cleaning and I was anxious to get my teeth a checkup. I had some mild pain and assumed I would need a filling or two.
On the first visit, they only take xrays and have you looked at by a hygienist and a dentist. Basically they tell you everything thatโs wrong with your teeth. They said one of my cavities might need a root canal and a crown. The next person through the door insisted I absolutely needed a crown and I was referred to a specialist. That first appointment was long, and I left with still uncleaned teeth and a stack of financing materials for how to afford all the work they โneeded to doโ.
I believed them and went to the specialist. Apparently everybody is just money grubbers and the specialist said that it was still early for the root canal but they might as well do it. Stupid me agreed and went along with it.
I finally get scheduled in for the crown prep and the appointment takes an expected 2-3 hours. The entire time the dentist and hygienist seemed like they both consider the other incompetent. Iโve never felt more uncomfortable in a dentist chair. Something was stabbing my gums the entire time. Stuff was getting dropped on the floor, the hygienist never knew which tool to hand the dentist next and the dentist couldnโt keep track of his own tools.
Additionally they were understaffed this day. The hygienist was running in and out of my room to help other patients down the hall. At one point I was told to wait for nearly half an hour in the chair while they went to help someone else. The pain in my gums was so intense I nearly vomited. โI bet you thought we forgot about you.โ They said as they came back.
I lost track of how many times I got water in my face, or down my neck. During the final crown seating the doctor only dropped the crown down my throat 3-4 times. I told him repeatedly that the crown didnโt feel right in my mouth and was sent home with a poorly fitting crown that I needed to return to get fixed a few days later.
All in all, my experiences at Aspen Dental were enough to make me never want to go there again. I have now spent hours, and nearly a thousand dollars at this place and still havenโt received a cleaning. Iโll never return and highly encourage you to find a different place.

Inspite of constant changes in personnel, everyone I encountered on my last visit were kind, respectful and caring toward my care. Each person was open about what they were doing and did not hesitate to answer my questions with wisdom and knowledge. They seemed to take their time with each procedure and gave me many rest breaks to ensure I was doing OK throughout each treatment.

The place looks clean and new. X-ray machines feel more advance compared to other dentist offices I had been to. EVERYONE made my baby girl (4 month old) and I feel super welcome. Dr. Bryan is patient, gentle and kind. I would take my family back there.

The dentist was very nice and explained everything in great detail. His dental assistant was very nice and very helpful. The only complaint I have was when I was getting my x-rays. The lady that did them was really rude and seemed really irritated. She did not make you feel welcome at all. Even when she was asking me questions, she cut me off in the middle of me talking. If I would have had to deal with her more, I probably would not be going back.
