Smiles has made going to the dentist a much less stressful experience both pain and for your wallet. My daughter loves going and they are awesome with kids. The entire staff are friendly and willing to help in anyway they can including the cost. Smiles on Calumet is by far the best dental practice I have ever gone to and will keep them for all my dental needs.

I showed up to my appointment on time this morning only to find out they gave my appointment to someone else. They didn't leave a message, only called. However, like most people I don't answer calls I don't recognize and will only call back if they leave a message. They didn't. Furthermore, they claimed they didn't receive any response to confirm my appointment even though I told them I responded to there email which I just re-forwarded to them as proof.

Simply put, they lied to my face. When I asked them to explain why they didn't leave a message and why I was still getting texts this morning at 8:30am (the morning of the 9:40am appointment) saying "Hi we'll see you at 9:40am :)" when they had already given my appointment away I was told that it was an automated system and "sorry".

The office was devoid of customers, no one there but me waiting. Two other cars in the lot, and about 9-10 cars in the back. Four secretaries working behind the desk, and was basically told tough luck we can re-schedule an appointment for you. Well, my wife cancelled her appointment today too now because of the poor customer service, and we'll never go back there. All those people working, and still such poor service and communication.

Dentist is doing crowns unwarranted by insurance. Had two crowns in March of 2019 One was paid for by insurance and one was not because it was unwarranted by information that was submitted by the dentist . I have been making calls monthly and get the run around. Feel as though there is a flaw in the management . Oh fail to mention that the crown that was unwarranted by insurance, they unsuccessfully placed it on the first time and I spent over 4 hours one afternoon and they had to remove it in pieces in between other patients. I have never been so humiliated!! Will be switching dentists . Would not recommend!!!!!

I have been going to Smiles on Calumet for the past five years. The staff is always polite and thorough in explaining all the details of my treatment. They added new technology since my last cleaning and today took digital images of my teeth in addition to the routine x-rays!

I’ve been a patient now at Smiles on Calumet for just over 6 months. I’ve been through 2 teeth cleanings appointments and now in progress with Invisalign treatment.

The facility is very luxurious, the staff and Dentist are very, very nice, very professional and very easy to talk to, 5 stars.

Unfortunately, it’s the process items that caused me to give them now 1 star. It’s been one issue or mishap after another, starting with my name being listed wrong on all of my Invisalign trays. After deciding to correct the name on each Invisalign
Tray after 6 weeks, they reordered trays, however when I went for my appointment to check on my progress and get new/more trays, they accidentally threw out my trays! I then waited almost 4 weeks for the new trays to be produced, 4 weeks with no progress ultimately given I had been prior changing trays every week. I received new trays, there was no check on my “buttons” on each tooth to make sure they are still placed correctly. They gave me the new trays without verifying the “buttons”. Once I got home and put the new tray in, it didn’t fit well, given the “buttons” misplacement now. I went weeks (called the office but no call back or direction saying come back in ASAP) with initially intense pain to ultimately feeling like the teeth were not moving at all. Another appointment I waited 20 minutes in the waiting room before being brought back, which ultimately lengthened my appointment and being late back to work. My last cleaning appointment I waited 10 min before being brought back, then the hygienist talked to me 1 minute about the amount of hours I’ve been wearing the trays. The Dentist came in for 5 min. I then sat and sat and sat, for a total of almost an hour, only to be then moved rooms for my teeth cleaning, which I had to remind them I was supposed to get that done. Again, the cleaning was soooooo rushed and again I was late back to work. Last week’s appointment was again rushed and the replacement of the buttons wasn’t finished, but I had to leave again to get back to work given I had only planned for 30 minutes, not an hour plus. Anyway I had to leave, unfortunately one of the buttons they didn’t finish is so sharp that it’s cutting the inside of my mouth. So that’s my experience.

Given the amount of moola I’m paying out, I somewhat expect my treatment to be 5 star. If it was one issue one time or one mishap, noooooo big deal and would be certainly understandable. Butttt now after 5 plus issues and mishaps, I’m beyond frustrated.

My dentist could not see me so called around a few places to see if anyone had availability .
Wonderful reception staff, I called as a new Pt. Explained situation and out of calling several dental offices this one was the first that said, let us see how we can help you and listened! Dr Dube and Deb were also great! Made me feel extremely confident in their care! She did not pull my tooth out but had me see an endodondist the same day just to make absolutely sure we were pulling the right tooth and not having referred pain from the tooth next to it .Changing immediately to this practice!
