My daughter chipped her tooth at school. Her usual dentist wasn't able to see her until next day late afternoon. The Smiles team was able to take her on as a new patient and get her in that same day, early afternoon. They were amazing from walking in to walking out. Planning on moving the entire family over to see Dr. Lisi. Dr. Lisi was so informed and made sure that my daughter and i understood the process and cost before the procedure. She addressed dental concerns other than the chipped tooth and explained why it's important to get those checked. They asked my daughter what shows she likes and put on a Barbie video for her while they fixed her tooth. The team was amazing! I was pleasantly surprised from start to finish. They are awesome!

The staff was very kind and efficient and I was treated well by them. I had the worst experience with Dr Lisi. She never introduced herself (actually she did after I greeted her), She told me that she could "see my tooth with decay from across the room" (This is a small spot that had a tiny repair and that filing fell out) she repeatedly asked me "Why don't I take care of my teeth?? Why??! I'm thinking that I'm sitting in your office getting them cleaned and in my world that actually means that I am taking care of my teeth. Basically, She spent the grand totally of 5-7 minutes in my presence trying to shame me into spending over $3000 in her office. What made her think that I would give her one penny more after being shamed and treated with condicention? I went home in tears and by the way she did her job well; I did go home ashamed.

I'm writing this for my father who is on a very fixed income.
He saved his money for a year to finally get new dentures.
After another 6 months and a lot of b/s from smiles, trying to constantly charge him more than the original quote, THEY DIDN'T FIT! They fell out his mouth constantly. Couldn't eat with them, could barley talk without them falling out.
They gave him every excuse in the book, and basically refused to fix them, because " they were expensive" well duh like he doesn't know this. So he is S.O.L $1,200. All for nothing, literally nothing. He sent them back the new dentures, and is back in his 10 year old ones that don't Fall out!
Thanks for ripping my 73 father off. Thanks for wasting our time and $$$.

I recently moved to the area and needed to find a new dentist. I chose Dr. Dube at Smiles on Calumet and haven’t looked back. From the first time I walked in the door, everyone from the office staff and techs all the way to Dr. Dube herself have been nothing short of professional and friendly. Dr. Dube has a great chairside manner. She explains each procedure and answers any and all questions I may have before she begins. Dr. Dube also continues to ensure I am comfortable throughout the process. As a result, she has also put me at ease and I no longer dread going to the dentist! The convenient location is yet another plus. I highly recommend Dr. Dube and Smiles on Calumet!
