New patient with this office & very fortunate to get in quickly for 6-month exam & cleaning due, when Alicia called back saying an sooner opening had become available. EveryOne is helpful & friendly, from front desk and right on through the visit with Dr Tuinstra, his dental assistant, & the hygienist! Dr Tuinstra did a thorough exam, took time to explain things completely, & listened to questions I had...left me feeling very much at ease and well cared for. Anna, [hygienist] also did an excellent job with great care & not feeling rushed through. This office is Awesome!!

BIG FIVE STARS. Here's why: I've been procrastinating going to the dentist for many years and was nervous coming here. The building is more like a house and I immediately felt an at-home vibe. The front desk ladies were so incredibly welcoming and kind, I can't express this enough. I didn't wait long and was taken back and shown a short tour of the dentist office. It was immaculate. Everything was so clean and organized, better than any dentist or orthodontist office I've ever been to. My dental hygienist was amazing. She answered all of my questions with a smile and seemed excited that I was there. Then there is Dr. Tuinstra who understood my nervousness and communicated with me with care. He focused on my needs and wants for my smile and teeth and gave me great advice and a plan that works for me. He's not your typical dentist, doctor, guy with a PhD, etc. Least to say, High Country Family Dentistry is worth the wait (because they're busy people) and I recommend anyone reading this to book an appointment! Heck even use my name!

Once again my experience at High Country Family Dentistry was exceptional. I was greeted by name by the admin staff, my wait-time was minimal and my hygienist, Amanda, was polite, friendly and, most importantly, highly competent. I always feel the concern is genuine that is shown and I have complete confidence in the care I receive as well as the whole dental staff. I recommend this dental practice highly and without reservation. I feel lucky to be a patient at HCFD!

Office staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. The hygienist was very gentle and did a excellent job cleaning my teeth. Dr.Tuinstra did the exam and explain every question I have. He took his time and was very nice!

Dr. Tuinstra and his team are the best ! I moved from Flagstaff 3 years ago, but still come up for cleanings and dental work. They are so accommodating, thorough and on point. The trip is worth it.....Love them!!
