Avalon Dental WOW I can’t say enough good things about this place. I don’t dread the dentist or doctor but I do dread dealing with the front end office and insurance and all of that and Avalon dentals team is BY FAR the best in town. They truly get to know you and make everything so simple and how could I forgot DR Peifer who is the most gentle dentist I have every had work in my mouth (12+ dentists) he makes sure to talk to you to calm your nerves. I would HIGHLY Avalon dental for all your dental needs.

I went to this dental office and had extensive dental work done in 2013 thru 2015. The office staff was very pleasant and Dr. Peifer seemed very empathetic to my dental needs especially after my car accident where it left me in need of more dental work..
I had to have my front upper teeth extracted and have a bridge put in. This experience has been nothing short of catastrophic for me. I'm so embarrassed to smile and show my teeth because the bridge was set in crooked, not a little crooked but badly crooked, enough for my family and friends to comment on how badly and "awkward " it looks.. I told Dr. Peifer that I thought it looked terribly crooked and he responded that I was incorrect and that I was looking at it wrong..How could I be looking at it "wrong"? He told me he would have to charge me again if I didn't like what he did. I could not afford another $2500 (again)..Now, because the bridge was not set correctly plush to my right gum, Im having gum issues with it receding because of exposure..
Because Dr. Peifer would not see or correct what he had done, Iam currently trying to get this corrected by another dentist..I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just telling the truth of my experience at Avalon Dental..

As a medical professional, it is important to see friendly, knowledgeable staff members that treat their patients with the same respect and care that they would their own family, which Dr. Peifer and his staff excel at. Had a cleaning scheduled with them and just didn't want X-rays taken this time (I wanted to give my body a break from X-rays, MRIs and other scans that I had to do lately). I had been a patient with them for a while so they had already plenty of X-rays over time from me. I was told that if they can't take the X-rays they won't clean my teeth. I understand the purpose of getting X-rays but as a patient you should be able to opt out.

Love the place and the services. They are super nice and friendly. I have been coming here for 8 years and on. Love for Dr.Peifer, hygienist Nicole and ofcourse Celeste to keep me on track with my appointments. Me and my husband is super satisfied with them.They always make us feel like family with extra ordinary customer service. This place is highly recommended.

I wasn't able to make it to my appointment but after calling to re-schedule the receptionist was rude and told me I would need to pay a 40 dollar cancelation fee because I called 24 hours before. I told her I was not aware of this and she insisted there were "notes on my record from 3 years ago I was aware of this" Which is not true. She automatically assumed I was lying and As a customer I don't even feel like she wanted my business. I have recommended a lot of friends and family based on their customer service but after that experience I will no longer be doing so. What a disappointment.
