My Dentist

I went because I wanted a laser dentist I heard lots of great things about lasers helping with gum disease. and all i got the conventional dental drilling and fill . I'm pretty disappointed .

Best service in the valley!!! After visiting 4 different dentist in 2 years I have finally found this group of doctors, staff and reception which provide excellent service and care! I now recommend them to all my clients. If you struggle with visiting a dentist or are in need of loving care, they educate you and then give you treatment options.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Margolis for at least 12 years. Figured it was time to give him a review. He is a very caring and dedicated dentist who truly wants what's best for his patients. We highly recommend Dr Margolis to anyone who needs an exceptional dentist.

My Dentist, Dr. Margolis, and Dominique have my highest recommendation and thanks! I was having a major dental surgery and very, very apprehensive. Both Doc and Dominique put me at ease and let me know how severe my problem was and what we were going to do about it. They used multiple tests to confirm and even sent out biopsies to validate post operatively. The team was amazing and very accommodating. Doc provided the most meticulous dental exam I’ve ever had. You want a meticulous dentist – so they do things right. I had the whole afternoon with Dominique who made sure all my questions were answered. This was not a 30-minute appointment. I spoke with doc at least 3-4 separate times. It turns out my case was even worse than suspected – thanks so much for the team’s skill! His post-operative communication made me feel like I was his only patient. Thank you so much!

They do great dental work here, and I liked Dr. Kovar. I stopped going when I realized they were still requiring masks as of February 2022. Would consider going back if they change this policy, but in the meantime I already had my February cleaning done at another dental office.

While searching online for a new dentist I came across My Dentist. I called the office and left a message, no one called me back. I called again the following day requesting information. They do not take insurance, which I understood from the information presented online. When I asked for a price sheet and inquired about fees for services, the lady was very rude and unable to help me. I am not impressed! Having had three surgeries in the past 6 months and having to deal with cancer has been hard enough. I definitely do not need rude office staff and what I believe are shady business practices in not providing a general fee for service price list on customary/standard services. I did call another holistic dentist who immediately took charge and is getting my questions answered, so I can make an informed decision before stepping foot into the office.

I went there to get fillings replaced. Biggest mistake!! They recommend you do so much that's not necessary and try to scare you into it by telling you that you can hurt yourself in the future if you don't do it by being poisened. Don't go here this dentist ruined my life. My mouth has never been the same since getting treatment here and I'm in constant pain. I had to go back over 7 times to get my bite right. It wouldn't be right because he hacked the job and my gums we're injured by him and inflamed. It's been years and I have permanent damage permanent pain. When I kept going back he reminded me his wife is a lawyer. I have never had problem with my teeth or gums before coming here and now I do, only on the teeth he worked on.
They will screw you. Notice all of the release forms you must sign before they work on you. The forms say that if they are negligent you must still pay them and they do not guarantee their work. They do whatever they want and keep your money. They screwed me so beware.
Oh and by the way his wife is a lawyer...

Earlier this year I worked with Dr. Kovar in safely removing my amalgam fillings. After doing a lot of my own research on the dangers of amalgam fillings, I decided it was worth a shot. You have to be your own advocate for your health and well being. When you suffer from health problems, you need to do your due diligence in finding the right provider with the right training and continued education. That is exactly what I felt coming here.
I came two days. Once to cover my left quadrants and the second visit to cover my right quadrants. I had the pleasure of meeting Nicole, who assisted Dr. Kovar with both my amalgam removal appointments. They had witty banter while working on me, which is appreciated when you're feeling anxious at the dentist's chair.
After my amalgams were out, I decided to keep going with a full dental restoration. I saw mild improvements in my overall health and cognitive functions. I felt I would never fully heal if I didn't get all the toxicity out of my body.
Last Thursday I went in to have my right side disinfected with Dr. Margolis. I had a root canal extracted and cavitation surgery on both of my old wisdom teeth extraction sites. Years ago I was rear-ended in a car accident. That same summer I got my first root canal. I always chalked my neck pain up to an injury from the accident. I had very limited rotation and haven't been able to check my blind spot driving without pain for YEARS. Only a few days after the surgery, my neck pain was GONE and I had full range of motion again. I don't even want to think about how much money I spent going to: physical therapists, osteopaths, doctors and chiropractors over the years and they were all stumped as to why I wasn't healing!
During my research I read about focal infections, but it never crossed my mind that my neck injury could actually be a focal infection from my teeth. My old wisdom teeth extraction site did not bother me, nor did my root canal. My friends and family thought I was crazy to rip out a perfectly good root canal and crown ($3k) that wasn't causing me any pain or sensitivity. I feel bad for my friends and family that have toxic materials and bacteria in their mouths and are completely clueless.
Seeing a highly qualified dentist is not cheap, but it is worth it. Your health is worth it. I had amateurs working on my mouth as a kid and now I am paying to have a professional fix it. I will be going back in January to have my left side done. Two cavitations and a root canal extraction. I am not looking forward to the cost, but I am looking forward to the health benefits. I was kind of surprised to read any neutral or negative reviews of My Dentist and that's why I wanted to tell my story. You can't please everyone and there are always going to be complainers. Dr. Margolis gives you his personal cell phone number after surgery and tells you to call him with any questions or concerns. I have never had a dentist tell me its okay to call him on the weekends with questions. He genuinely cares about educating the public and his patients on holistic dentistry and is clearly SO passionate about what he does. I can't believe anyone would say anything different.

Dr. Kovar and his staff we absolutely the best. Kind and friendly from door to door. I would highly recommend anyone to go see them. I got my mercury filling removed under the most high tech and thoughtful process. Don't go to anyone else to have your dark silver fillings removed. Biological Dentistry is the way to go.

Stay away from this place. Dr's are nice enough but the office staff is terrible. They will tell you one thing on price and even cash discounts and charge you something else entirely. The office staff is very rude and absolutely do not care to help.
