Tempe Modern Dentistry and Orthodontics

Love my dentist office, they have outstanding and friendly and staff! I really appreciated that the assistant explained the process thoroughly and took care of me all throughout the process. I find it very convenient that they do everything electronic so check in is always a breeze and hassle free! As well as remind you of your appt. few days prior so that helps a lot! They also have amazing bilingual personnel and that is always a plus! I would certainly recommend this dentist office to anyone who really wants to be taken care of!

Horrible experience with oral surgeon Dr. Petersen. I realize oral surgery is not a pleasant experience but Dr. Petersen made it 150% worse! Extremely rushed and no communication to me, as the patient, as he extracted my teeth. I had no idea what was going on as he hacked away at my tooth. So rough and forceful! I would never refer any family or friends to this man. Tempe Modern should not want this man linked to them in any way.

Had periodontal surgery at this location. Have also seen the two dentists at this location in reference to the perio surgery. I have had an excellent experience. This includes the entire staff I had contact with.

IF YOU NEED A DENTIST COME HERE. The ladies and Tempe modern dentistry are absolutely amazing. They have an amazing office filled with happy and helpful people. They work with someone who has a busy schedule, like myself, and make it seem easy. Paige has helped me get my teeth looking AMAZING and is always great to talk to. They really make you feel like family. I can go on and on about how great this place is, but you’re going to have to come find out for yourself!

Everyone employed here is friendly and professional. Entire family has been coming here for years. Dr Z and her husband who does the pediatric side are just wonderful.

I have the Best Dentist 🦷 in the world I have been afraid of the Dentist 🦷 all my life be cause they always hurt me This is the 1st time I had a dentist that was gentle & caring & No pain she is awesome Now I I do is go for regular cleaning every 6 months. Friendly environment staff is awesome too, I’m never changing from Tempe Modern Dentistry!!😁

Tried to give this office multiple chances but overall terrible. They do not care about your time and have shady billing practices.
-They had me scheduled for a cleaning and after 1.5 hrs (40 min of which I sat in a chair just waiting) at their office, they only did the x-rays and "exam" with dr Sigh who doesn't answer questions and who tried to push veneers. They rescheduled the cleaning with no explanation.

-Returned for a root canal (they ran 50 minutes behind and didn't notify me, this is a problem since the endodontist is only available once a month and not easy to reschedule). Dr Cipriano and his staff were amazing and made me feel comfortable (they are the only reason the review has two stars!). Its not their fault the office schedules as 30 min appointments instead of the appropriate 45, so always running behind. The office didn't not have me scheduled for a crown much to Dr. C. dismay.

-Returned for cleaning and crown. Aisha was nice but her water cleaning tool was malfunctioning and even after telling her it was burning me, she continued to use it. She even told another person the machine was malfunctioning and she was trying to use different modes to cool it down (spoiler that wasn't working and she was burning my mouth). Ended up with terrible burns (which I am surprised Dr. Zonneveld didn't notice when placing the crown). I was in pain for a week from burns on my gums/lips.

- Received a bill for a deductible on x-rays since they billed for a full set, instead of bite-wing. They said they "checked" my insurance and quoted 3 times that x-rays would be no charge, but that was incorrect. They also refused to give me a copy of my x-rays when I asked for them.

-I went to this office instead of my normal dentist because they said they were following covid19 protocols (including masking), which when I got there was a complete lie. No one in the reception area wore a mask.

Overall I gave them multiple times to try and show me they cared but each time it was the same result. I have never written a bad review for an MD before, but in this case I am hoping to save others from a similar bad experience.

I had an amazing experience with getting a crown replaced and my teeth cleaned. Dr zonneveld is great and fast at what she does. The assistant Bonnie did the x rays really quickly without any gagging reflex. I got my teeth cleaning done by Paige who did a great job and was quick as well. Thank you Tempe modern dentistry team my teeth feel so much better.

I regret that we ever chose Tempe Modern Dentistry. I have had two teenagers complete braces through this office with a wife and 11 year old receiving dental work. I have never had costumer service as awful as this facility. The dental hygienists have made my wife leave in tears and blamed it on her for the numbing medication not working. I have had my teenage daughter belittled for not wearing her bands. I have never been able to call and reach someone other than a 3rd party reservation line. Then when anything goes wrong with the appointment they blame you and not the 3rd party they contract through. The times of availability are limited because the orthodontist only works a limited schedule. Had i known this i would have started braces for my two teenagers at an orthodontist that had appointments M-F. It’s from the top down, i don’t think i have ever met anybody in the office that was nice, pleasant or made my family feel like we were having a positive experience despite our investment of several thousand dollars and several years. My wife had a crown replacement and it fell off after only a few months. We only went back to this office because we had to for them to fix the work they already did. I would not recommend Tempe Modern Dentistry look elsewhere for more convenience in appointments availability, convenience in reaching someone in the office and overall rude personnel.

The staff is accommodating and caring. My daughter asks a lot of questions and they always make her feel comfortable. Bernadette at the front office is very helpful and makes me feel welcome even when the office is buzzing with kids. Would definitely recommend!
