The ladies up front (Alondra, Sabrina) are so kind, caring and really easy to talk to. They answered all my question I’ve had. The assistants (Ida, Kate, Elizabeth) were so knowledge and answered all my question about me procedure and made me feel very comfortable. The hygienist (Rachel) is phenomenal. She so gentle and very informative about my cleaning. And all the doctors (Dr. Smith, Dr. Hussein, and Dr. Hernandez) are so nice, and really take care of my concerns.

Due to my crazy schedule they have been very accommodating and if I can’t see my main Dr I can see the next one that’s available.

I absolutely love this office. Every time I come in everyone is so friendly and inviting. I feel so at home. You’d think I’d be nervous or dread coming but truth be told I love it. Everything is new and state of the art. They take scans of your mouth so you can see everything for yourself. They can even do crowns in one day here. You can really tell the staff works really well together. Thank you for making a trip to the dentist so simple and easy.

Rachel is a lovely and caring dental hygienist. I always feel like my teeth are super clean after seeing her.

Dr. Hussein is also great. He gave me good advice about night guards, I never felt pressure to buy any products.

Dr. Hernandez is an amazing dentist that cares so much about his patients. He is always making sure I feel comfortable and that I don’t feel pain. He explains every procedure before he starts doing it so I understand every step. I can tell he is passionate about his career! It’s hard to find dentists that will give you the best advice for your dental health these days and I can certainly say that I can fully trust Dr. Hernandez.

I have always had a lot of anxiety about the dentist and avoided it for years. I finally needed to go on, and found amazing support and service from this team. I worked with Dr. Smith and Rachel who are both so kind and gentle, talked me through everything, and we're understanding and slowed things down when I needed. I am SO grateful I found them when I did. I'll stay with them forever!!

Without a doubt, Dr. Nicole Smith is the best dentist in Huntington Beach. I strongly advise visiting and speaking with her if you require dental procedures or want to straighten your teeth with Invisalign. Rachel Genet, the hygienist, is an all-star who consistently goes above and beyond for her patients. I observed that everyone working in this clinic is wonderful, from the front desk personnel who welcome you as you enter to the assistants who get you ready to see the doctor or hygienist. Outstanding workplace!

I was recommended this office by a friend after having a bad experience with my local office. I was very impressed by the friendliness of the staff and their level of accommodation with my short notice and needs.

Dentist offices are often vilified because they deliver bad news, and are usually only visited when something is wrong. Don't let a few bad reviews fool you, these people deliver a high level of service and are incredibly friendly throughout.

The front office staff is very helpful and answered all questions. Dr. Hernandez is an excellent dentist. He is very kind and was very knowledgeable with diagnosing the pain I was experiencing. I highly recommend him, Dr. Smith, and the rest of the professional staff at this office. They are all very good at what they do.

Whatever the highest rating is, be it a 10, 5 stars, or whatever, that’s what I give to the staff at Huntington Beach Modern Dentistry. Starting with Alondra, who takes care of the scheduling and necessary paperwork; then Kate, a dental assistant; Rachael, my hygienist; and Dr. Smith, my dentist - all of these people that I saw on my last visit plus others by whom I’ve been attended to over the 6 years that I’ve been a patient there, I can’t say enough good things about them. The dental work I’ve received has been spot-on regarding evaluation, recommendations, and proficiency; and their facilities, equipment, and treatments are state of the art. The staff is super friendly and compassionate, and they make a genuine effort to assure that your visit is as pleasant as possible. It really does feel like “family” when I’m there. Knowing the importance of having a competent dental team, I can’t be happier and more satisfied having HBMD as that team.
