Hands down to Alondra and Sabrina for helping me understand different types of insurances! I got confused because it was my first time using dental insurance. Sabrina went above and beyond contacting insurance to verify fees for me and Alondra put me on schedule with the oral surgeon to have my wisdom teeth taken out. Trustworthy people 👍

7/28/22: After being a patient here for years, I just had a terrible prolonged experience with Huntington Beach Modern Dentistry. For now, suffice it to say after paying a fortune to have a modified partial denture adjusted, they left me with a Partial that did not fit, and just falls out and could be dangerous if used. Their solution was don’t wear it then. They refused to repair it or send it back to the lab Or provide a full refund for all the monies I’ve spent for this partial, saying it must be that my teeth shifted in the last three weeks rather than that somehow the lab got it wrong. What is strange is the “temporary partial” that I had worn before I got the permanent partial still fits fine before and after the extraction and if it’s fine now. In addition I have two other “temporary partials” that I wore since 1985, and they still fit fine. For now I’m just going to have to use the latest, old temporary partial.
Dr. Hussein’s remark to me is I don’t know what I’m talking about because I’m not a dentist and he is. That doesn’t help a bit when my appliance doesn’t fit. Also, I’m not impressed with how “modern” they are. I thought they were able to make accurate scanned 3-D models of my mouth, but he seems like this is foreign to him and he has no idea how to read accurately the 3-D scan of the mouth and compare it to what the partial denture. Very disappointing.
7/29/22 HBMD posted a Published a reply asking me to call. I responded immediately by calling.
8/2/22 completely apart from HBMD, I took off time from work and had the appliance properly fitted at a local dental lab. It was easy and quick. They confirmed Dr. Hussein’s conclusion that
9/9/22 still waiting!
3/7/23 it had appeared we had reconciled in that the office apologized, but Dr Hussein would not. They asked me to continue as a patient and I agreed, just not with Dr. Hussein (I have had no other problems with staff). I scheduled an appointment with them this coming week, but just had them cancel it because they thought I would not be happy. I explained the problem I had was only with the one doctor, but of course, I would abide with their decision. Time to find a new dentist!!
