I had an appointment this morning at 9:30am, the personal at the lobby where ok, the lady that took me to the X-ray room very professional, the doctor somewhat unprofessional,he never introduced himself, he walked in saying HELLO BUDDY, Buddy is most commonly used as an informal word, NEXT ISSUE the lady that walked in to the treatment room to give the price never introduce her self either, she just walked in throwing big crazy numbers on prices like the normal price for a crown normally goes for $ 4,000.00 dollars, because you do have your insurance is only going to cost you $1,500.00 dollars out of your pocket for one crown, this person that give me the price don’t even have sales skills, right after I walked out of Lancaster Modern Dentistry I called Smile Dental from Palmdale, they give me a ballpark between the prices of $800.00 to $1,200.00 max , OUT OF POCKET with NO INSURANCE, I’ll be commenting more and more about this unpleasant event, you can count on it, wants I come more relaxed, unfortunately I have no names of the individuals that assist me, no wonder they don’t introduce themselves with their names, 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔, I hope you are almost done paying the loan for all that fancy equipment that you have at your location, because if you do have it payoff, you should become more willing to have more reasonable prices for you town or elsewhere 🤔🤔 I leave you that one for you to figure it out, please train your sales people to be more gentle and show some kindness or at least some fake kindness that will be good enough for me and who knows maybe for others too.

Been going to Modern Dentistry for over 5years and the entire staff have always been so helpful and kind!

soo they advised my boyfriend to leave his inhaler with them during bis wisdom teeth surgery and didnt bother giving it back, when i called to see what had happen to it, one lady said we aren’t responsible for what patients bring in and i told her there was another girl with pink-orange scrubs who said to leave it there and they had nothing to say. plus the front desk lady had a bad attitude.

Staff was very efficient and helpful. I hate long waits and that was not my experience here at this office.

The Modern Dentistry team was friendly, efficient and informative. Dr. Ortega was thorough in his exam and communicated the results and requirements clearly. The hygienist did and excellent job cleaning my teeth. I highly recommend this dental group to anyone looking for a new dentist.

Extremely rude staff. Receptionist was rude with a snarky attitude, staff talks to patients family like they are flat out stupid and a bother, and Dr Hannah was just as snarky and rude when asked for aftercare advice. Also appointment did not begin until an HOUR after set time. Do yourself a favor and find a dentistry staff with some manners.

Wonderful Experience! An absolute outstanding friendly and professional service from beginning to end. At first it seemed my tooth could be saved, but I was throughly informed since I had a very bad cavity...the pain could possibly return (Instead of paying Double $$ to fix it now and then having to pay again in about 6 months). So I was given two options and I ended up having a tooth extraction and bone grafting (saving time and $$) procedure was done quick and very professional. I had a bad experience in another state with the removal of another tooth (worst experience ever). Even though I had to have an extraction and bone grafting it was done with such care and attention, it didn’t even feel like it. Thank you to everyone at this office for your friendly service from the appointment setting to the removal of my tooth ;)

I haven't been to a dentist in a while due to phobia and also cost, But Dr. Ortega was super friendly and really cares about his patients and their comfort. Was really gentle and at the end of it all a root canal wasn't all that unpleasant. As well as his staff, they aspire to make your visit a pleasant one. Prices are also good and affordable.

I went to LMD in April of 2018, everything was fine until they gave me the quote to get 6 fillings done. With my insurance, which is very good, they quoted $1200 out of pocket (over $3000 total). As this was my first time going to the dentist on my own insurance I wasn't aware how absurd this price was. I agreed and they did them. Within the first 2 weeks one filling fell out, within 3 weeks a second, and within 8 weeks a third. I went to my old dentist in Phoenix AZ and his initial reaction was the quality of work was sub par at best and wasn't sure if it could be fixed. He ended up being able to fix the three lost fillings WITHOUT insurance for under $400. Fast forward to August of 2019 and I went to my wife's dentist to find out a fourth filling is cracked and about to fall out. I have fillings over a decade old that are just fine but over half of the fillings I had done here have now fallen out or failed within 18 months. The whole time I was there it felt like they were constantly trying to oppose every little procedure they could. I'd stay away for many reasons.
