LA Dental Town

I was so disappointed about the work done on a cavity. It was fine before it was filled, now i feel discomfort, pain, and sensitivity. I visited the place for the filling and after that, i went 2 more times to try to find a solution. Unfortunately i felt rushed, and the visits after that did not help my tooth. I can't waste my time on a 3rd visit, if there is no solution to the problem that was caused. I really tried my best to like this place, i was a regular patient, unfortunately now i have to seek a second opinion and hopefully my pain is gone for good, with a solution to whatever happened on the tooth filling. I highly recommend my dentist Dr. Woo. She has been my dentist for the past five years and I have never received such superior caring dentistry from a dentist such as Dr. Woo. Dr. Woo is innovative, and has mastered the art of dentistry to its fullest capacity. The work she delivers is painless and precise. Moreover, what is most significant to me is; she takes the time to develop a sincere connection with her patients in order to understand their needs and goals.

Personally I know how difficult it can be to find an ethical dentist that truly cares about the work they perform on their patient’s. For example, before I was treated by Dr. Woo. My prior dentist left my smile in a state of uncertainty and unfinished work. I attempted straightening out my smile with Invisalign as suggested by my first dentist. However, that did not work out to well because I was not a candidate for Invisalign to begin with.

When I met with Dr. Woo she listened to my needs and carefully assessed a plan of action for me. Dr. Woo introduced me to innovative 6 month adult braces that straighten out my smile and gave me the confidence to smile again. Dr. Woo tailors her work to meet the needs of her patient’s life styles. She knows I am a busy college student that would most likely be too tired to put on my retainer every night. Therefore, Dr .Woo placed a permanent retainer that is not visible to others when I smile.

Dr. Woo has transformed my smile into a beautiful work of art consequently she has transformed my life and self-esteem in positive way. Now my friends, family and co-workers notice my bright beautiful smile. I tell everyone You should go see Dr. Woo too!

Both doctors who work here and all the dental hygienists here are excellent, hardworking, caring and kind people. I love their work here. They are super stars!

So last week I had chipped my tooth, thinking I would just get a filling and be done with it. I asked my dentist friend, who lives out of state, on what I should do about it and she suggested to go see a dentist asap because even though it doesn't hurt now, cavities get bigger and it'll prevent future problems. I'm currently in a coverage gap, so instead of seeing my family dentist, which I've seen since I was a kid, I decided to try this new place. I go in thinking I'm going to get a filling to cover up this new hole in my tooth.
I learned 2 things: 1) my old dentist doesn't know what he's doing, and 2) I have REALLY bad teeth. First I go in, and it's already a much nicer facility than what I'm used to being around, but the staff are well educated and friendly.
To prove my point, they do a preliminary examination and they could already tell I have a teeth grinding problem. 25 years of seeing my old family dentist, and this is the first I've heard of this... My chipped tooth was a result of years of grinding/clenching, which I had no idea I did, that causes added pressure on certain teeth. To help me understand, they take pictures of two individual teeth that show hairline fractures which is a result of this problem, and show it to me in real time up on their TV screen. So now I'm looking at my teeth, which I really never thought were that bad, thinking... WOW... these are really my teeth... They suggested to instead of getting a filling, which would involve removing a layer of my actual tooth to put in, to get a crown to protect my teeth, and a night guard to help with my grinding problem. Since I don't have coverage at the moment, they suggested to do proper dental hygiene, brush twice a day, floss, mouthwash, and then come back when I get coverage and they'll take care of me.
Bottom line: I highly recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a dependable and knowledgeable dentist to take care of them. I can't speak for other dentists, but this whole process took less than an hour, and I learned more about my teeth than I had in the entire 25 years I spent with my old one.

Adulting is hard when your parents no longer make appointments for you. So I found this place online and decide to check it out, in less than a year I’ve accomplished years worth of ailments addressed!! Cavities gone, wisdom teeth extracted, (2) semi-annual deep cleanings AND a new retainer!! The organization is clear, whatever you need they got it for you.

I love my dental experience each and every time .. I get the best care and attention I can ever ask for from a dentist.. my daughter and I always both look foward to going to our 6 months check ups ..

I’m not a patient yet, but just by calling the office and speaking to this young lady Jessica who has the sweetest voice. She made me feel comfortable and was able to answer all my insurance and dental questions I had. Found my dentist. Thank you Jessica.

Care and service was excellent. Final work is better seen than spoken about. But i never go away unhappy. I would refer LA Dental to all my friends.

I had an awesome experience there. They were very Professional and kind and gentle. They met my every need. I would recommend them to all my friends and family. They were very informative and made it very clear what to expect with cost and with the procedure. No one has been so informative as they were. Very glad I went there.

This review is coming from someone who experienced the BAD side of dentristy (ie being handled):

After getting told I needed filings for cavities I didn't have PLUS crowns because _and I quote, "the fillings would fall out without a crown" (??) , AFTER being told I needed 2 root canals when in fact there was an option to have just one and save my other tooth by less $$, and After being told by yet another dentist I shouldnt even get a root canal but go straight to an (expensive) implant for one tooth and rtc the other.....I found a HONEST dentists, who was so sweet as to say she didnt want to "bad mouth other dentists" but that some are "more aggressive"

Bottom line: HONESTY is the greatest quality a dentist can have n guess what this place is honest! And on top of that you get all the other perks you don.t expect a down to earth office to have: super clean, nice ppl, latest tech, patience/gentleness_ i mean seriously its like a freaking spa!:-) This sets the standard, look no where else, you're done, trust me
